You need YOUR car to do test in US?

LOL... haha xD

Matthew-first
...? Whats so hilarious about that? This happens quite frequently outside the US as well. I know many places in the UK do not provide you with a car, the D.O.E. being one of them. So what is funny about this?

Okay so yesterday was my drivers test. I had prepared for this day for a long time. I worked fast and hard at that repetivie tedious driving school and I was constantly nagging them to get driving hours so I can get my license yesterday on the 28th. My dad got me a truck that wasn't working. I bought the parts that it needed and fixed it myself with very little help. I worked hard to get what I wanted. So for my test I was using my moms car. The driving instructor came up to me and noticed the left brake light just went out right there on the spot! So I had no test. My mom, dad, sister, brother in law and even uncle does not have a vehicle I can use for my drivers test! I have to wait till one of them fixes their car or gets a new one. I can't use my truck because it is not insured. All that hard work was just shot dead instantly for nothing! Is my anger and depression justified? Or am I just being a cry baby about it?

If you can fix up a truck then changing a light bulb should be extremely easy to change, it only takes a screwdriver and $3 - $40 depending on what you drive. (Yeah $40, some cars have expensive lights but you usually get two and that is usually for headlights.) What are you going to drive if your truck isn't insured? I don't get why you need the licence right now if you have nothing to drive, what is there to be depressed about. You have to wait until someone fixes their car or buys a new one? Why would they buy a new car!? You are clearly capable of fixing up cars if you fixed up a truck. Im sensing holes in this story...

[QUOTE="Hubadubalubahu"]Merely pointing out a double standard. And yes it is still used as an insult. Also if that is all you took in out of that I worry about you.Bucked20
Im pretty sure a black person never came up to you and said, excuse me cracker whats the time

Nope can't say they have, it's completely out of context for a derogatory term. Argue well if you want to argue pointlessly. Once again you choose to focus on a very insignificant thing and completley overlook what I was saying as a whole. Im sorry you cant come up with any sort of intelligence to actually debate but if you want to keep nitpicking on a word you for some reason dont believe exists go for it.

@Mgamer If you don't read anything over two sentences long what's the point of being on an internet forum.

[QUOTE="wis3boi"] I remember reading a legit review on Amazon for GTA IV from a mom who bought it for her 8 year old son for his birthday was disgusted by the opening scene. The ignorance of people never endshorgen123

I remember seeing a similar review somewhere for one of the 'God of War' games. This person had bought it for their 10 year-old daughter.

Both things could have been avoided... If they had simply looked at the cover.

What is humorous is that bill they are trying to pass to get a warning placed on the game warning that video games relate to violent behavior. If they dont pay attention to the ESRB rating what makes them think another warning will make a difference. Parents have clearly lost the ablility to read.
