Yes they are. They serve America....they are sent where they are sent. But they serve their country. You are letting politics interfere with your thinking. Soldiers, sailors, marines, and air force are not political.

The US Armed Forces are the physical manifestation of our government's will. They exist because of politics.
Whether you agree with the government decisions....these soldiers ARE serving their country. LJS9502_basic
They are serving the machinations and whims of a corrupt government that has used them. What they do there is not in the best interests of America as a country.
Why doesn't anyone understand the difference between the war being a waste and saying soldiers are wasting their lives.

What is the honor in their deaths then? Of all people I would judge your opinion one of the highest, so tell me.
That is not the correct thing to say......they are not wasting their lives. They are doing their job.....and if you had family that was in Iraq you would resent that comment.LJS9502_basic
Yes but in a volunteer army the soldiers expect their country to send them to war for a just cause. Not to fill the coffers of oil companies who gouge their families' pockets. Not for military contractors who get paid exponentially more than than an enlisted soldier. Not for a country that does not want us there or understand our culture. Their lives were wasted in Iraq. It is not my fault. Nor is it Senator Obama's fault, it is the fault of the Bush Administration - the people who orchestrated this war. They have used the Armed Forces of America for their own gain and spilled the blood of it's soldiers on the sand for a honorless cause. The people who have died in Iraq are wasted lives, thrown into the breach at the will of Washington's warmongers and instead of bantering over who slipped up and said what, the American people should be screaming with outrage until their throats are raw and bloody because our government has betrayed our soldiers' trust and it has cost them dearly.

I knew I kept you around for a reason. :D
How could that be? How can some mere man write this stuff down, and it comes true by coincidence?

It's called ambiguity.
"Oh my! In the future! A great conflagration! War and atrocities all throughout the world!"
I have predicted what will happen in the future.
I don't think some fruitcake from the Bible can predict the end of the world. I'd be more likely to trust an intoxicated deer's insight in the end of the world personallycjek
OT's Theme for the night of 2/13: Impaired animals!
Seriously this is the 3rd drunken/retarted animal reference I've seen in the past hour.
