@reincarnator07 @HydePark1980 @wcbigguy4 That's an invalid argument because a lot of third parties are guilty of it, but only Nintendo's hand gets slapped for it. Ask yourself how many entries of Assassin's Creed are floating around since it's launch back in 07?
@wcbigguy4 @HydePark1980 The original we had a tremendous amount of support from consumers (sales speak for themselves) where was the 3rd party support then? Here's the thing that people fail to realize about Nintendo.....damned if they do, damned if the don't.
Between launch and now the Wii U could have sold 5 millions systems and developers would have found any excuse not to develop for it. The original Wii is proof of that.
@wcbigguy4 Nintendo has never done what everyone else is doing which is exactly why they're still here today. Sega tried to be like everyone else and where are they today?.......as a 3rd party virtually every single franchise has faded into obscurity
A developer's job is to be wild and creative, who does that better than Nintendo in this industry.
I can't speak for everybody but as a consumer I always choose two consoles to own, one which is completely different from the other. No matter what one of those systems will always be Nintendo because they dare to be different.
@VERTIGO47 I do blame developers, as a developer why wouldn't I want to work with Nintendo. Every developer that has worked personally with Nintendo has produced gold.......I use to think just like a lot of these gamers thinking that Nintendo was for kids. Then I woke up and realized that they're just making games that are fun to play, isn't that the whole point of gaming to have fun?
Now and future console are aiming to be more like PC's.....the problem with that is why settle for a console when you can build a PC that does the same thing only bigger, sharper and faster.
Personally I think that's a can of worms that these game companies shouldn't **** with, and just stick to making game only consoles.
LMAO!! Still standing strong even after everything that this industry has thrown at them ......yet we continue to have developers, analysts and gamers out there who still believe Nintendo is doomed.
What a waste!!.....it's like watching adults that still think the Easter Bunny is real.
If years of gaming in this industry have taught me anything it's that whenever Miyamoto goes on the record like this, there's a hidden message that he and his crew got something big cooking. E3 can't get here soon enough!
