Avatars will not replace Gamerpics and Microsoft will continue to sell them
However Avatars will be required in live party (if You don't make one there will be a default avatar)
Themes will still work on the new dashboard and Microsoft will still keep making new themes,
also Microsoft has stated that they are working on new ways to edit your dashboard like different colors (to replace the Default Gray color) and ability to move items around on My Xbox
sorry for large font figured this time people might actually read it first
[QUOTE="jake63"]Really, MS is just pandering to the casual crowd with this update. Avatars aren't new, but it's obvious MS is really aping something Nintendo has a pretty good stake in. Why can't the 360 just stay original and unique in its own right (read: blades were a cool idea)? We don't need no stinkin' Yuus or whatever. Daykeem
@ the bolded part: I have people yelling at me every time I say that.
But I can almost guarantee, everyone who says they hate it now, will only start loving it (or atleast get use to it, and I'm refering to the dashbord only) when it gets here. Once everyone forgets about the old Dashbord and has the new one drilled into their minds
couldn't have put it better myself no seriosly i have been trying to say that for like 2 forums
man, i really regret buying a 360 after getting RoD twice theres no hope and now they're turning the 360 into a stupid Wii for little kids, i thought microsoft would have a mature console, i wish i had a PS3 instead they're more reliable
