@frankblack789 Video games don't inspire people to go out and commit mass murder. It simply doesn't happen. That's why every time someone tries this tactic the idea gets proven wrong and the person loses credibility. Out of the thousands of people that frequent these forums who have been playing games for most of their lives, how many of them have killed someone?

A home owner will keep his gun locked in a safe in his bedroom. He is very responsible with it and feels he needs it to protect his home and family if trouble should ever arise. His view of guns will be very different from a kid from the inner city who finds comfort in his video games because it prevents him from having to go outside where every kid on his block carries a gun and will shoot you for looking at them the wrong way. A persons view on gun control may vary depending on the environment he grows up in.

@rabih55555 @SolidTy Touch screen controls aren't bad at all when you get used to them.

@ArabrockermanX I like to think so son. Look, I've been playing video games since Atari's biggest selling game was COMBAT so take that however you want. If you like to flail and swing your arms when you play video games then more power to you. As I said before, some people are fine with the gimmicks.

@Stebsis @DarthLod Yes, Nintendo's own ip's will most likely utilize the motion controls properly. Not so for some 3rd party games. Some companies even avoid developing for Nintendo consoles simply because of the unconventional controls and the lack of any type of next gen tech. We the fans miss out on some great games because of this.

@---Cipher--- @IAMTYLERDURDEN I'm not saying Nintendo shouldn't try to be innovative. I'm just saying that it isn't really necessary. People would still buy a Nintendo consoles without the gimmicks.

@DarthLod Gamers buy Nintendo consoles for their games. In order to play Mario or Zelda, you're forced to put up with the gimmicks.

@skateryanboarde I don't believe the absence of motion controls or tablet controls would stop people from buying a console. We enjoy playing games and there's nothing wrong with the controls we have been using since the beginning. There are people who enjoy motion controls but most of us would rather see companies focus on releasing fun quality ip's than controllers that require you to swing your arms around.

My wish, Nintendo releases a gimmick free console. No nunchuck. No tablet controller. Just a regular set top box with next gen HD graphics bundled with a new Zelda game. That would be a day one purchase for me.
