PC pwns all.... It's funny how some people say that the difference is insignificant. Such people only own a console and say this to make themselves feel better. The difference is HUGE and very noticeable. I mean.. Heck, the stupid consoles cant even render the stitches and ornaments on the clothes... Cant show wrinkles on skin... Small difference? give me a break! I keep seeing ignorant people who say that you have to pay more to play games on the PC with better quality. This is not really true. I can easily build a PC for $700 that will run this at max settings. sure, it will be without the monitor keyboard and mouse, but it's not like your TV comes free with an xbox, and neither do your controllers. Sure, $700 is not $400 or $300, but it can do so much more, and it will easily "last" for at least 2 years game performance wise, possibly more, especially with upgrades down the road. Let's not kid ourselves here... PC absolutely decimates consoles. The only advantage consoles have is a lack of fighting games on the PC - which is retarded and unreasonable, given how well SFIV runs on PCs.
I miss SEGA consoles. They were the best, and the best of them all was off course SEGA Genesis... Who can forget those commercials? Who can forget Streets of Rage, Sonic and Knuckles, super Street fighter II and Mortal Kombat 2? Ahh... Those were the days. I wish SEGA would come back with a new console and drive the PS3 and Xbox out of the market PERMANENTLY. Wii can stay though, since Nintendo always competed with SEGA without doing any significant harm. (and yes I know those last two sentences were very dumb things to say) Oh, and off course I am a SEGA fanboy. ;)
I agree with the article MMORPGs are the most addictive games out there. No reason to ban games, but there should be help available to gaming addicts. Unfortunately there's currently none, because the problem is largely being ignored. mattayo, the reason why you don't see how video games can be addictive, is because you lack education on this subject. You are, in fact putting something in your body by playing games. You don't have to see it or feel it, but it is there. You emotions while playing games result in hormone production which you in turn become addicted to. Just because something is new or unknown to you, doesn't mean you should deny it.
