Usually a booster quits right at the end of a game. If it's slayer and it's 49-40 or KoTH and its 249-200.
You quit to lose EXP. The less EXP you have, the faster you rank up. If you quit and your team still wins, you still get credited for the win.
The downside is when your team loses, because it kind of messes up everything.

ya, this pretty much. It's called negative exp boosting, find someone or buy a 1 month card (preferbly this guy is pretty good at halo), and in one playlist (normally doubles or team slayer) they quit out like 200 games. because they have such a bad win/lose ratio if they win one game they'll prolly rank up to like 10 from rank 1. If you party up with this guy and go and win some games you'll rank up at a pretty fast pace (2/3 ranks at a time at 40+) compared to the normal win 3 games to rank up once. Bungie is banning negative exp boosters now though, so if you plan on quiting 200 games at the last second be warned.
edited cuz i said lose instead of quit
Ahh! Okay, thanks, that was really helpful. :DOh, okay. I see. So, if your team loses, do you rank down?Usually a booster quits right at the end of a game. If it's slayer and it's 49-40 or KoTH and its 249-200.
