Dude, this has nothing to do with fanboy lines. For the vast majority of people on this planet, $100 is a real valid difference. Especially when the more powerful device costs $100 less....that just seals the deal. So no need to throw fanboy names around, $100 matters to most everyone save for the very wealthy. It may not be as big a deal to people who dont work, seeing as its not their money, but for people that do work...yes I wanna save $100.

You can buy a new console and CHOOSE your game.

This. Unless its a bundle that comes with a game + an extra controller/accessory for a very good price, I would much rather choose what game I want to purchase. Because at the end of the day, I know I can use another controller no matter what my choice in games is, but I may not want Knack, or Killzone, or Fifa, or whatever they are bundling.

$100 is a lot. Thats almost 2 games difference which is a big deal imo.

lol, jokes aside though, MS seems to have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that another RROD fiasco will not happen again. So I think in the overheating department, MS is very safe. In fact im surprised Sony has no overheating problems with the size of its box!

That sucks. This kind of early days shenanigans (and the lack of a large library) is usually why I wait a bit to get a new console. I'll probably be picking up a PS4 somewhere around feb/march 2014/

It seems to be all the rage nowadays. I mean even GTA was like "umm...yeah...we'll add online later."...heck, even MS is jumping on the bandwagon with a mandatory day 1 patch. Long gone are the days when you buy something that works the way it should straight out of the box.

Advertising and the fact that the X360's core audience were core gamers who know whats going on. The Wii ignored the core and opted for the casual route. Casuals arent as well informed in these matters.

I love the ouya. Not because of it's games, I've never played one. Just because of that video of that fat american who was really really disappointed with himself for supporting it.

lol i remember that video! that guy legit complained that it came with an HDMI cord..like wtf did he expect? did he want it to come without one and he had to bring his own? i was confused :lol:

Im pretty sure these 50GB games will be heavily compressed when you download them. So a 50GB game may actually end up being 30-35GB download. Still a lot, but better than 50GB. They are only 50GB on the disc because most of the data is uncompressed for quick access.
