Both sides, US and Russia are just as grimey as each other. US has been supplying the rebels with weapons. If they hadn't done that, the rebels would have been crushed quickly, the civil war would have ended a long time ago, and there would have been far less casualties. Russia has been doing the same, but instead with the Syrian government,. No good guys in this situation, all that happened here is that Putin outmaneuvered Obama...I'm waiting to see what Obama does next :Pnothing we didn't already know, plus he's dodged to explain the role Russia has been playing in the conflict.

Great pictures but they dont say anything new. I didnt say no resolutions ever pass against Israel, I said no resolutions that would lead to DELETERIOUS results towards Israel. Syria was recently being threatened with war. Zimbabwe had sanctions placed on it. North Korea and Iran have sanctions on them, and Iran is constantly in trouble regarding their nuclear initiatives. What action has been taken against Israel? So its quite interesting that the nation with the most resolutions against it hasnt had any action taken against it.
And your top pic is awfully biased considering people have likened Israel's treatment of Palestinians to that of a "prison camp"...not my words...thats British PM David Cameron. And in the link you posted with all the resolutions there are resolutions about Israel denying Palestinians basic human rights
So maybe under Israel they should put in the parenthesis "Cuts off Humanitarian aid to Palestine essentially creating a prison camp out of a nation"
Here are his words:
"The situation in Gaza has to change," he said. "Humanitarian goods and people must flow in both directions. Gaza cannot and must not be allowed to remain a prison camp."

When I think about the situation in Israel I think of one scene in V for Vendetta:
V: What was done to me was monstrous.
Evey Hammond: And they created a monster.
[QUOTE="II_Seraphim_II"]Look, its sad the girl killed herself and all, but what type of children are people raising in the states nowadays? You cant log off? I remember being bullied as a child. But back in my days, it wasnt just people saying mean things online, it was me getting my ass handed to me on a daily basis, getting my money stolen, and on 2 occasions broken bones. So whats happening? Yes bullying needs to stop, but at the same time maybe parents should try to teach their children how to deal with people who arent nice...because those people are in the world, whether we like it or not.Jimn_tonic
You tell us nothing about how you dealt with bullying, so what was the point of that little story?
To some degree, she can't just log off. what goes online stays online and I think what's more important for parents to teach kids.
Oh I apologize, my story was only meant to show that I too have experience with bullying. What I did was ignore it. Got my ass kicked a view times, learned to avoid situations that were likely to lead to me getting my ass kicked and i learned how to run fast. Thats how i dealt with it. I could have learned to fight back but I was too small back then and I dont like hurting people even in self defense. I always feel bad afterwards.Who said we can't use facts?
I am saying that using any law in a discussion like this is pretty useless. It's not really relevant what someone else thinks if the discussion is between you and me, unless the discussion is what their views inthemselves really are. International law is not written by God. It's not infallible. If you think Israel or the US or whatever is the main obstacle to peace you should be able to use reason and logic to back up this view. Not use someone elses interpretation of an interpretation of how nations should behave. Even if you want to use international law you still haven't provided anything substantial.
If you want to use an interpretation of this fallible collection of words and that interpretation is a news agency I guess you're right in that Israel was breaking rules. Should we now make a list of who breaks the most rules and whoever has done it the most is the obstacle according to fallable interpretators? Why do you discuss these things when you just use other people's interpretations? Then I can just talk with them instead.
And where is the response to my other points?

Wait....but what if I dont believe in God? Everyone believes in a different God(s) or none at all. So to say that what was "said by God" is extremely biased because I believe all religious texts were written by men who had no such connection with any super natural being. That being said, multiple nations came together and fruit of their endeavors was the UN. Israel was admitted into the UN in 1949 and part of that admission process requires agree to work within the regulations of the UN. So even Israel, the country in question, accepted the authority of the UN and what we deem international law. So if Israel agrees with the concept of international law, why should it be irrelevant in this discussion?
As for the list of resolutions you posted, please actually research rather than just posting. How many of those resolutions were actually enforced? If i say "We all agree that Tommy is a bad guy, but let him keep doing what he does" that's just as good as doing nothing. Look at the list and see how many resolutions are all FOR THE SAME THING because Israel would just ignore the UN. Whenever the UN tried to intervene either economically or otherwise, the US would veto any such action. So yeah, the US passed resolutions condemning this and that, but the Israel ignored them knowing full well the US would just veto any attempt to take action. Here are a few from the post u linked:
Look at the resolutions from 636 to 799. Open them and see how many are for the same exact thing, because Israel would just ignore the UN. Not to mention the resolutions on Israel's blatant deprivation of Palestinian human rights. Also look at how many of those resolutions are about Israel not complyng with the UN. Isnt the US always going on about attacking nations that don't comply with international law? I'm pretty sure Israel falls under that category...multiple times. The US will allow condemnations to pass, but what good is a condemnation without actual action behind it. So my point still stands, the US blocks DELETERIOUS resolutions regarding Israel. You can yell all you want, but at the end of the day, no actual physical or economical action ever occurs that affects Israel due to the US's veto power.
