I just went to play Fable II after not touching it for a probably like a year, and when I tried to load a game I was told all four of my character files were corrupted. That seems strange as all my other data is working fine from what I can tell. The only reason I care is that I want to be able to load my files into Fable III if I get it. So is there anything I should try here, or are my saves gone for good?
Black Ops because my friends would probably have that.

It's from a show called supernews that used to air on Current TV, you can watch all the episodes on youtube though, they're quite funny. I think that GIF is from the short gates vs. jobs part2.
I always hear people on here complaining about medal of honor and call of duty black ops. But if you were forced to spend your hard earned money on one, which would you buy and why?
If you like one or both games, your opinion is obvious, but I really want to hear what people who harbor a hatred for both games would do.
Myself, I would buy Black Ops, although it looks flawed at least a lot of people are gonna be buying it so I'll have some friends to play with which might extend the fun value for a while.
None of them, they were all annoyingly cliched. They could have fleshed them out better. Even the squad in ODST was more identifiable. If I had to choose a favorite I'd say Noble 6, just because he doesn't say anything to make me roll my eyes at the writing.

I'd like an alan wake style thriller thing. A killer is on the loose in the woods, and it's up to you, your axe, and your trusty flannel jacket to survive. Oh yes, I can smell the good reviews from here.
I got a few momentary frame rate drops on campaign, especially in Legendary or something where hoards of enemies are piling onto your screen. Nothing that actually effects gameplay though, unlike what you got in something like Skate 2.
I've never suffered lag in matchmaking, however I do agree that the voting system is flawed. I want to be able to play what I want when I want. If I want to play some slayer, I go into a rumble pit lobby and everyone votes for infection or safe havens. That can be really frustrating. Overall though, I'm quite satisfied with my Reach experience.
