I mean Stadia is a sinking ship by now but good on him making a statement. Google needs to really revise their gaming business plan. As of now, GeForce Now and Xcloud is the ones stealing the show.
I personally like GeForce now more cause I get access to my Steam, Epic and Ubisoft games.
@naomha1: I have close to 70 free games i've claimed, it's a nice library to have but other than that, Epic has nothing. Even the basic friends list is seriously lacking in features.
Also Epic has had it's fair share of hogging new releases from Steam by making it exclusive to their platform for a period of time. So their hands aren't clean either.
Not trying to bash Epic here but they need to step up their platform.
I mean if Epic, EA, Ubisoft etc. had a robust platform with a whole community built on it, then they could compete. But suing the big guy cause they have the right services for gamers is a bit much.
Steam forums is pretty essential for gamers. I love sharing my screenshots/videos, customizing my profile, checking the latest news on a game or seeing the latest update with ease at a glance. Most of these are all things that are pretty important to have and to retain your customers.
As much as I don't like monopolies, Steam isn't really restricting other platforms from competing, bottom line they need to build a better platform with better services instead of just a storefront and calling it a day. Yes i'm looking at you Epic.
Honestly my biggest bug is actually not being able to pick up loot sometimes. That's the most annoying thing, killing a bot and not being able to loot the legendary on it is such a bummer.
First and foremost, Rockstar NEEDS to bring in cross-platform cloud saves. I'm sick of having to restart on a new console to play with friends. Let me bring my PC character to any platform. It's a little ridiculous..
They used to have character transfers but they removed it for who the hell knows. A lot of big games allow me to keep playing no matter the platform. I just want cross-saves!
