Both would be awesome, but I think a 3D game has more potential. The games have great atmosphere, but I'd like it to be more ...dark and creepy, and that's not possible in 2D. Lots of blood is a must. They need to focus a lot more on combat than LoZ does too, something DMCesque would be most fitting. LoZ exploration is great, but this is CV, so not a lot of puzzles... *thinks of a CV with the exploration of LoZ, the battles from DMC and bloody creepiness and then faints*
The problem with reviews are that they're always subjective. When deciding whether to buy a game or not, you should watch gameplay videos, read how the game works and if possible, play the game. If you aren't reading a review done by someone who have pretty much the same taste in games as you, ignore the reviewers opinion and only read the cold, hard facts. This whole "OMG GameSpot and IGN gave this game a 5, it must suck" thing is stupid.
