Um....why is it a shoe-in? Graphics aren't everything. The game looks shallow to me.

Graphics aren't the reason it's hyped. It's who it's being developed by - Bioware. It could be a 2D game and it would still be hyped for this reason.

I don't really understand why people hype the game as much as they do. Killzone 2 looks very average to me.

I doubt they will all become series as popular as the likes of Mario and Metriod. The only one I think has any chance of doing that is Uncharted but considering how few people own a PS3 it could be an awesome game and still be overlooked by the majority of gamers. In which case it will become a cult classic.

Yeah those 3 are proven multi-million selling series and probably even better than what the 360 has in terms of exclusive content. 2008 is really when the PS3's big guns start firing.
