\[QUOTE="Idonomeus"]On my way to the Saints Row forum I noticed the PS3 version of Saints Row has been cancelled. Chalk up another AA exclusive for 360. Saints Row 2 is still coming to 360/PS3 but with as few good games as the PS3 has right now SR would have been a nice addition to it's library. GabeBlack
I dont know why the devs made this game... They need to get back to making Summoner and Freespace games. I just happen to think there is room for only one "GTA" type game.
Looking at the sales of Saints Row and Crackdown (both have sold over a million) I would say there is plenty of room. GTA is overrated anyway. GTA 3 was good but the series went downhill from there. From what I have heard about the game I do have high hopes for GTA 4 though.
Saint's Row was good, but if I was only a PS3 owner, I would not lose sleep over it, especially with GTA 4 on the horizon.SpruceCaboose
True but playing both Saints Row and GTA 4 is better than just playing GTA 4. Different style of game despite some similarities. Saints Row is more of a shooter, which is no surprise since it comes from Volition (Red Faction)
Judging early is like one and a half years into a consoles lifespan but you guys are judging waaaay early, all because you guys are high on Microsofts success. well any console would be a success if it launched a year before the competition

Dreamcast? :)
I hope I get some measure of revenge.
Here's a question for the graphical loving people. What would you really prefer. Spending £40-50 on a game that lasts only 10 hours but is photo realistic or would you want a game that allows you to play for 40 hours and has graphics that are similar to...Ocarina of Time or Sonic 1/2 on the Mega Drive (only games I could think of).

Spending $40 on a game that excels in all areas. I wouldn't buy a bad game regardless of how good or bad it's graphics were but 10 hour games can be very good if they have re-playability. Sorry but I will never see poor graphical quality as a positive attribute and with so many games in the market there isn't much reason to settle for anything less than excellent in all areas. The only exception would be in genres where there isn't a large enough market for me to be picky.
Final Fantasy XIII if it's an 08 release. There is too many games I'm interested in coming out in 07 for me even to be thinking much about 08 yet.
