It is! Bioshock and Metroid got the lowest score here and don't forget 7.0 Halo 2.
Warhawk just a really great game, simple as that.
No, it means Warhawk is a simplistic game with lots of explosions and appeals to someone like Jeff who has the mentality of a 15 year old. The low MP3 and Bioshock scores only serve to show how lowbrow the site has become.
Anyway this completely blows away the idea Gamespot is tougher on games than other sites these days. No doubt they used to be across the board but that seems to have ended when Greg left. An online only shooter with 5 maps gets 8.5. I don't even know what to say about that. It's like Wario Ware all over again and not surprisingly from the same reviewer.
Looks like Gamespot is being tough on games will any kind of depth (Bioshock and MP3)and easy on the likes of Gears of War and this. Wishes Greg was still here...
Wasn't there a post recently about how much more powerful the PS3 was because it was not even using it's SPUs for the game while the 360 was using 93% of it's power to run it? The source was PSU.
There is a lot of engines I prefer. Even if they made their own and it wasn't technically as good but ran at 60 FPS that would be better. Lots of people bash Halo 3's graphics but I think the engine they are using in that game looks good, at least it's unique and does what they need it to do for their specific game well.
Unless they come out on PC this year, then yes. I have already waited long enough to play them. There is other games I want on 360 of course but that should answer your question.
