I haven't got a 360 yet. Online is definitely cheaper than going to the store. There are so many different models and Microsoft's website sucks in showing all the different combination packages.Premiumor Platinum? This one site http://www.blendbucks.com/ is offering the following for $380 with free shipping. Package includes: Xbox 360 Console, (1) Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, Xbox 360 Hard Drive, Xbox 360 Headset, Xbox 360 HD-AV Cable, Xbox 360 Ethernet Connectivity Cable, Xbox 360 Faceplate, Silver Xbox Live Marketplace Service, and manual. The hard drive is 20 gigs. It seems that Amazon is offering the same package for $399. Sometimes I see price search engines for $349. Are these the same models?

Someone let me know if this is a good package.

johnlegend

Well I live on Canada and here we have a package for $500 (canadian) which includes the premium console and stuff, 4 games, and a extra controller all for $500 the same price as the regular premium.

I dont thnk GS has the guts to give halo 3 below a 9 if it did halo 2 would not have got its scoreArisugawa00

Why does GS always have to be biased, if it gives a xbox game a high score they are teh biased i fthe give a PS3 game a low score they are teh bias. From what I can tell they normally score fairly close to ign in most cases so wat now ign are biased. Stop just stop and get a life past claiming everyone who disagrees with your opinion are a bunch of biased fanboys, its ridiculiuos.

If they are related then this guy should go to jail as he is using insider information to sell his stock before it drops, sometimes after the stock drops they buy it back having the same amount of stock for a lower price.

[QUOTE="VoodooHak"]

[QUOTE="CwlHeddwyn"]It all comes down to fibre-optic lines- ones countries start ditching crappy old copper lines in favour of fibreoptics thats when downloading HD Movies will be a reality- in Japan they already have 100Mb lines- think about it.DarkBunnie

Not just downloading, but streaming HD content will be possible with fiber optic. This is how IPTV works.

Enjoy monthly download caps. :D

Oops! You went 200 gigs over the cap. That will be 1 dollar per gig please. :D

Lol I dont think ill be able to reach my download limit anytime soon besides you probably have dial up or DSL thats why you think its impossible, fiber optics is the future and MS with XBL and soon the IPTV service of theirs will prove you wrong.

Dont skip school, you need your education. While I love games with a passion, waiting in line and skipping school is a stupid choice. But on the other hand, if you're in college, you can easily get away with it once in a while. But if you're in High School, its not a smart choice. It kinda sounds like nerd blasphemy, but getting an education should be more important than Halo 3.hillelslovak

Except for us kids that are smart enought to actually keep our grades high enought that as long as I dont have an exam on that day I can skip it no sweat, got parents to excuse me for the day so Yeah ill be playing Halo3 before all those school going fools.

Who cares, skateboarding games suck anyway. Now if there isn't a milked idea then I dont know what is. I wish companies would stop producing crap like Tony Hawk games, Call of Duty, Rayman, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot and all these other milked franchises that have only appeared in the last 10 years and are pretty much repetitive trash, not to mention they get abysmal scores half the time.

DSgamer64

I know, I think nintendo have made enought mario games to last us till the year 3000, sadly the milking will not stop atleast the titles are decent most of the time unlike certain titles like Madden

[QUOTE="toni_xhoni"]dude its true, deal with it.Nagidar

Like I care if its true I will just send it in when it breaks but why are people even believing it when no respectable sites are claiming it, the 360 has a huge reliability issue but 100% would force a recall

Well at first even i thought that theres no chance in hell 100% are defective, i dont own a 360 but my cousin does, and his 360 just crashed like a week ago, and he sent it to microsoft, now hes waiting to recieve his refurbished one, so that made me think that all 360s have problems, just some of them will crash later than others.

Yeah like I said the 360 has a HUGE reliability problem and I am not gonna try and spin or something if I am proven wrong but why none of the sites like IGN, 1UP, GS, etc. havent run the story makes it seem like a fake that MS admitted the 100% defect since that would call for a recall. However the 360 defniently have very high failure rate, mine has recently been freezing on me every now and then so I will probably send it in when I go on holiday this fall maybe I might even get a 65nm but thats to optimistic

Yea but even if they were100% defective i doubt microsoft would make a totalrecall because they would lose to much money, and they wouldnt want that to happen which is why they are increasing the warranty limit

They wouldn't have a choice, they would be required, by law, to recall the 360.

Yup exactly why this story seems so iffy to me

Well I think that this gen it depends on how you define victory, the wii will most likely sell most hardware but the 360 will most likely sell most software do you get where I am going with this
