Everything looks fine. I'd just add another 4GB of RAM, which is cheap and easy.C_Rule

Would having more than 4 GB of RAM really necessary though?

I was actually thinking the same thing. I just don't know if it'll help at all... I mean, all I do is playing some video games, and do my school papers.

So I'm thinking of upgrading my gaming rig with a GTX 660 ti. I'm thinking of getting the EVGA one.

Now, I'm not a computer whiz kid, so I don't know that much about hardware. :(

I was wondering if my current rig is good enough for this card. I'm pretty sure it is, but I'm thinking that maybe I can get better performance out of the 660ti if I were to upgrade some of my other hardware.

My current computer (somewhat of a budget build...)

CPU = i5-2400
MOBO = Z68A-D3H-B3
GPU = Gigabyte GTX 560 ti 1GB
RAM = Corsair Vengeance 4GB
PSU = Corsair TX650
HDD = WD Cavier Blue 500GB

... the game would come to the PC?

I don't expect it to be released with the 360 version, but maybe in a later date as a port? I've been wanting a new open driving game since Test Drive Unlimited 2 (which was an utter failure in my opinion...).

I currently have an i5 2400. I'm thinking of upgrading from a GTX 560 ti to a GTX 670.

Would my CPU hold the 670 back?

I don't play either WOW or SWOTR. But I did stress test it with Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 at maximun settings.
It ran Battlefield 3 at 30 - 50 FPS online, and 40 - 60 fps for campaign.
Crysis 2 with the latest patch, high resolution textures, and Directx 11 settings ran between 30 - 40 fps.
Now keep in mind that none of my hardware are overclocked. Meaning these results are from factory settings.

By lowering the settings by a little bit, (like going from ultra to extreme for Crysis 2) both games run at 50 - 60 fps. So for the money I spent, the performance is very good.

And yes, it is cheaper and faster/stronger than prebuilt computers.

For Windows though, that's really up to you. I had a copy of Windows at the time, so that wasn't an issue for me.

You can build a much better computer with $950 as your limit.
I just recently built my first computer a few months back, and it's beasting every game I throw at it. (1920 x 1200 resolution, near max settings at around 50-60 fps) All at the cost of $800 + shipping.

Of course I had some trouble putting them all together, but the manual guide is there for that. And Google :)

My build: US $800

HYPER 212 EVO 120MM CASE FAN

WD Caviar Blue 500GB SATA HD
Corsair High Perform Vengeance 4GB DDR3
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W 80+ Bronze
Intel Core i5-2400 3.1Ghz LGA1155 CPU
Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 Intel Z68 LGA1155 MB
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB GDDR5
Cooler Master Elite 430 Mid Tower ATX Case

I'm not saying get the same build as I did, just use it as a reference. You can probably build a better computer than mine if you're willing to dish out a few more bucks.

Trust me, it's not as hard as it looks. Just a tad bit confusing at first. And for the love God, don't buy a pre-built computer. They're rip offs and under performers.... Most of them....

Is there a good website where I can sell my 560 ti?

I'm thinking of selling it for about $150-$170. It is relatively new, considering I only used it for about 3 months.

I just checked up on the GTX 670.

What is up with the price?! lol 400 US$ retail price for a card like this just seems a little strange.

Any problems reported with this card in general? I know the EVGA 670's were reported of being inconsistent in terms of quality, such as artifacts, freezing, etc.. I've always trust products from EVGA so this is a bit of a surprise...

So how much of an improvement would I get if I were to SLI 2 GTX 560 TI's?

Now, I have never used SLI before, so I have no idea how it works. Any tips for a noob?

Also, my motherboard has 3 PCI-E slots, but it says that they are X16, X8, and X4. I currently have my 560 TI on the PCI-E X16 slot and thinking of putting my second 560 TI on the PCI-E X8 slot. Would that matter in any way possible?

My specs
(none of the hardware are overclocked)

Motherboard:Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3

CPU: Intel i5 2400

GPU: GTX 560 TI (not the 448 cores one)

RAM: Single Corsair 4GB

PSU: Corsair TX 650
