So I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that Bamco is going down the same route as Crapcom with DLC fees that are abviously done already on disc. These contents shouldn't even be called DLC in the first place...

I've read somewhere that Harada will never charge his fanbase for DLC that's already on disc. In fact he stated that he would give all content to customers up front, meaning all accessable through simply a disc. I can't give you a link since I don't remember where I read it - it's more because I'm too lazy to Google it.... - Anyways, feel free to search if you like.

Now I don't know how creditable that is, considering how the gaming industry has been lately. Well, we won't know until September.

Your thoughts and opinions?
I really hope to God, - if there is one - that I would be proven wrong.

I switched from the HDMI cable to a VGA. Now it works perfectly... No difference on resolution or picture quality either.

So I recently got a Hanns G 28 inch monitor. Before that, I used a 23 inch LG TV/Monitor.

Ever since I plugged it in, I have been getting these split second black screens everytime I try to stream a video online. That includes Youtube, Viki, Gamespot Videos, Hulu, etc.. It almost as if the monitor needs to readjust everytime I play a video. This also happens whenever I try to play an AVI file with GOM player. With Divx player, this doesn't happen.

Another thing is that whenever I choose to play a video on Youtube at 1080p, my whole computer freezes. Now I know it's not the computer since I was playing everything perfectly fine with my LG monitor. These problems only started to happen the moment I plugged in the Hanns G monitor.

Anyone know what's causing this? And how can I fix it?

Pardon my ignorance, but since my old HDD had no problems what so ever on my new computer, I thought that it wouldn't make a difference if I switched it around. Apparently not.

I'm going to reinstall Windows XP Pro. I don't have any important files in there so there's no need for me back any of them up. I'm really hoping it's the drivers that are the problem here, not any of the hardware.

So I recently built my own computer, and decided to use my old internal harddrive for it before the new one came in for delivery. The new HDD came and I figured I would make use of my old computer and decided to put my old HDD in it.

Problem is, ever since I used it for my new computer, I can't seem to boot in normal Windows XP mode for my old PC. I'm forced to use Safe Mode only. I searched around and found that the change in mobo for a single HDD can cause problems since the drivers for each mobo is different, or something along those lines. My old computer had an AMD (MS-7125)and my new one has an i5 2400 (it was a budget build). Thing is though, the old HDD had no problems booting up Windows.

Everytime I boot up my old PC, I end up with the black screen giving me options for Safe Mode. If I choose "boot Windows normally," I get blue screen of death for a split second. Then the PC restarts itself, and repeats the whole process all over again. Safe Mode on the other hand, works perfectly fine as far as I can tell.

So is the change in mobo the problem here? Or is it something completely different?

Any solutions or need more info?

So how exactly do you check the temperature on your CPU and GPU? Is there a software I can use to see them?

And what's the average temperature for CPUs and GPUs?

I just built my own PC recently, and I was thinking of using my previous harddrive as a secondary on my new computer. But I'm not really sure how to change the CMOS to make the new HDD as the primary one, and the previous one as the slave. How exactly do I do this?

Also, I have Windows XP on my previous HDD, and Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate on my new HDD. If I were to use both harddrives in the same computer, would the different OS in both HDD effect each other? If not, would I be able to use the files in the Windows XP HDD, or would I have to format it?

I like asus personally, the build looks great.

The only thing I would change is the cpu to a 960T, because that 1035T is only 2.6 ghz and is not a black edition harder to overclock.

Are you talking about this one? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0056D5AMY/ref=asc_df_B0056D5AMY1910618?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B0056D5AMY I was actually recommended that in my other topic, but stuck with the 1035T since the 960T was out of stock. Maybe it was you that recommended it to me (I'm not very good with usernames).

Motherboard:
MSI 970A-G45 AMD 9 Series
or
ASUS AMD 990X
CPU:
AMD Phenom II X6 1035T
RAM:
Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3
Video Card:
EVGA Geforce GTX 460 SC
Hard Drive:
WD500AAKX
Optical Drive:
Sony Optiarc 24x DVDRW Drive
Case:
Cooler Master RC-430-KWN1 Elite 430 |
Power Supply:
OCZ ModXStream Pro Power Supply - 600-Watt, Modular, Dual +12V Rails, SATA, 80Plus

I was wondering if everything listed above are all compatible with each other.

I actually came up with this list from another topic, but I figured it'd be better to create another one for compatibility.

I want to get the ASUS AMD 990X motherboard since it supports SLI, but I don't know how compatible it is with everything else I have. Also, does this ASUS motherboard perform better than the MSI?

So that means that all of the 4GB of RAM from the Corsair, plus the 1GB from the GTX 460, which totals to 5GB, would all be used by Windows 7 64-bit?

And the 32-bit would not be able to use all 5GB?

Am I correct on this?
