You cannot deny, you're Thinker_145,unless you can deny with some undeniable proof. Now who the hell is "thinker"?
Is this some ploy to avoid the discussion on hand?

I think i should run Crysis on 800x600 and say,1152x864 or even 1280x720,just to prove you wrong 8) But i don't feel like it yet.
My friend used to play ArmA at 1024x768 w/ 4xAA. He stoped when he kept identifing targets wrong, something that will get you killed a lot in that game. The point is, it's extremely difficult to see things as a distance at such a low res. I'd take 1600x1200 at Medium settings over 1024x768 on High w/ 4xAA any day.kodex1717Would the same apply to any other Shooter Game?
[QUOTE="Stranger_7"][QUOTE="Indestructible2"]Even if i put them there will be no point cuz the real difference is only seen while in motion. And where's your screens?
wklzip
Motion or not there is always a difference doesnt matter how small it is, some of us may notice.

PS2 is the REAL shovelware console, and of course don't forget the PC (Though it ain't techincally a console :P)[QUOTE="wok7"]lol whats goin on? Extremist hermits turning on the their lesser extreme brethren. All too common on SW, why can't PC fans generally be united like Nintendo or Sony fans? Jealousy over being able to afford so and so hardware? Thats too bad : (Wartzay
How come none of my PC games work in HD? :(
Bu...bu...but t3h c0ns0lz c4n d0 t3h HDzorz,s0 g3t a c0ns0le and g3t r1d 0f y00r PC! That was a joke in case anyone is wondering.
[QUOTE="Indestructible2"][QUOTE="wemhim"][QUOTE="Indestructible2"]Although that's true, you should expect to be able to play new games coming out. Which is why a nice card and some RAM would be good. They don't need ANY AA or even mid settings, but they need to actually run, to make it a viable platform for a hardcore gamer. It'd be kind of hard to see all the new games pass you by.Graphics = Everything
There are old but GOOD games on PC that can run on even the $400 Prebuilts you see at Best Buy or Circuit City, don't make me make a list of them.

A card that'll run all the newer games, even on low settings but still playable costs less than $100,and RAM is very cheap nowadays,$20 for 1GB of DDR2 667,hell my HD 2600XT,which can be bought for $100,can run Crysis on medium settings @ 1280x720 fairly well.Yeah, I'm not saying you need to shell out 1k or anything, just saying a 400 pre built wouldn't be the best choice. Maybe a 400 self built...
I was just saying that there are lots of PC games for people who don't have 'good hardware' thus, making this thread ultmiately pointless, though i'm sure people already did that before me :P And yes,$400 Self-built >>>> $400 Pre-built.
