yes it has and i played saints row for the first time on my shiny new 360. its a really good game even though i only played it for about 30 mins i was impressed. i will have live by thursday so ill tell yuo all my name on that when i get it. cya all for now

ive finished my first week back at school (it was half a week acctually) and the novelty of being back has already worn off. still its weekend now and im looking forward to my history essay, maths and greek alphabet!!! fun fun fun! o dear! anyway better stay positive i have a great weekend ahead so ill get ym homework cleared for tommotor i think then i can enjoy sunday and saturday afternoon. ahhhhhh bliss....

i have it on my desk right now. and dont worry about the wallpaper im haveing new paint and new furni for that room

- saints row
- speakers for the monitor
- a new ds charger (lost my old one)
- a VGA adapor to connect 360 to monitor :D

so they'll be coming in a few days!!!

i wont have it hooked up to live though till next weekend or maybe the weekend after. anyway there ya go

UPDATE: the speakers arrived this morning!!!!!!! there so good. i connected them to my original xbox to test them as my 360 hasnt arrived yet and its suprising how much difference haveing some good speakers makes. i would never have thought that i would notice such a difference. i heard sounds that i didnt even know where in the game so there well worth a buy if your looking for some speakers.

there Logitech® X-230 if you want to know. and yes they do have the red and white plugs so you can connect to 360 or xbox/ps2/gamecube

well its been another week and so here is my third gaming update.

well it has been quite exciting this week as i have got 4 new games (i mentioned this in an arlier blog). for those who dont know they are: psychonauts, god of war, lotr: third age and lotr: return of the king

i got these games purely on trade ins. i traded in worms 4 (ps2) and sonic rush, nintendogs and asphault urban gt (all on ds). i got with these god of war and psychonauts but i also managed to get both lotr games free! this was thanks to a buy one get one free offer at GAME and both games were in a big box so i could get 2 games free.

ok now for what games ive played. in god of war i am about 1 hr 45 mins into the game and i must say i have been very impressed with the game. the gameplay is solid and fun and the moves look so cool. there are a varid amount of combos but my favourite part is the boss battles (only done hydra so far). i particulaly like these because of the sequences when you press X, O and all the buttons when it says to pul of some really awesome move.

apart from god of war i have been playing psychonauts. im about 2 hours into the game and i am currently *TINY TINY SPOILER* fighting the blue print tank (i cant seem to damage it at all but ill keep trying until i figure it out). its a good, if easy platformer and i am enjoying it quite a lot so far.

as for lotr i have not even put the 'third age' disk into the xbox as i recently played this game at a friends as he rented it so i am not ready to start a new game just yet. i have however played return of the king. i have done the first level with gandalf and also the second level with the undead things. i have found this game suprisingly hard (much to my suprise) but after several tries managed to do the second level by taking it slow and mashing X the whole time to parry. i did the second level about 5 minutes ago then realized i hadnt written this.

i tried to finish of half life 2 but only played for 10 mins or so. even one of my friends completing tit before me didnt spur me on.

alas no shadow of the collossus. its do damn puzzly for me (it took me a while to do the box puzzle, with all the boxes on top of each other, in god of war. and i only discovered it by accident). so im not sure what to do with SOTC but i feel it may gather dust.

i am planning (incredibly sad but i dont have anything planned for tommorow) to do a lotr day!!!! :D. watching the movies (im half way thrhough two towers, i havent seen them all yet), playing third age and return of the king and also some bfme2. i havent done anything since yesterday (another friend came round) and am already getting a bit bored. still im probably going up to london again soon and i have some other things planned so for now adios, wish me luck on my lotr day :D haha

i acctually got 2 free games as they were in a limited edition bundle thing with 2 games in it. and they were in the offer. i got lotor: third age and lotor: return of the king. now although neither of theese games are amazing they are good fun and they were free so whos complaining

well i have aquired some new games yesterday. i traded in: sonic rush, worms 4, asphault urban and nintendogs. i got god of war and psychonauts.....and i get a free game with it cos it had an offer on it. only thing was i forgot to get the free game so i am going back soon to choose here is the list of games in the offer. which should i get?

anyway i have done first level in psychonauts and havent even opened god of war cos i slep over at a friends.

well the furthest ive gone to get a video game is quite but not too far.

there are 2 examples.
1. i really wanted to get red dead revolver and so i cycled down to my local game store and.....it wasnt in stock. so i asked where i could get it so they phoned up there other store 12 miles away. they had it in stock. so i ended up cycling 12 miles mainly uphill to get this game (it was a hot summers day). and when i got it home ready to play, the game was average :(.

2. my second one is for san andreas. it was a hyped release so my local game store had decided to open at 7am. i got up at 6 and was at the store queuing up outside by 6:45. there were about 10 people there (bigger than me :( ) and when the store opened i tried to barge my way in (unsucsessfully) and was last to get the game :(. but whne i got it back it was awesome!

o god im sad :D
