Seriously.
I've just seen outside my house two kids dressed as Spider-man that are right now throwing with stones in the garden...

...or at least insane. Even when I'm sleeping, my mind is able to make out of the various audio-visual fragments stored in it a story with a complex, breath-taking plot that even has a sub-plot and so on. No, I'm not advertising (and even so, you can't get into my head... at least not yet), but most of my dreams don't make any sense (not that this one would have much more sense). This one is rather an entire scenario, even though there are still lots of empty spaces in the "record" I have. Most of what I remember is about a corporation (or at least I suppose so) that sells fortune out of fast-food stuff. From the beginning, I suspected something weird was going on from the futuristic security agents that were guarding the area like they are keeping a secret... Somehow, the camera flipped over to an intern from inside the company and what I've seen is at least very creepy - apparently, their "hamburgers" or whatever they are selling has some kind of... dunno what to say, apparently there are remains of human souls inside those hamburgers. :| That barely made any sense...
I grabbed a look at one of their packages and the ingredients (I sware, my mind has almost too much imagination) were definitely strange, but nothing as strange as what I've previously seen. My "camera view" returns to myself and I was talking to that intern who saw that and she said to me everything, and quickly after that we were talking and walking around when a bus without anyone inside it apparently starts chasing us... Until we started running and that confirmed we were watched... I don't remember what happened after that chase, but something big surely happened, as the next and last scene I remember pictured me, around the same surroundings, this time during twilight and the streets were suspiciously empty... Someone came near me and I talked to him/her and thought initially it was a "pumpkin" (even though I didn't knew what a "pumpkin" was...) and then a real "pumpkin" that was floating saw me and next thing you know I was in the air, with this thing burning or "dissolving" me... Yeah, the weirdest aspect of the dreams I have is that my brain actually simulates the intense feelings I have, which almost instantly mean that I wake up... It wasn't my first dream of this kind, but it isn't Halloween to see a Jack-o-latern and neither have I played Oddworld lately... I suspect the idea with the "secret ingredient" was "stolen" from the Oddworld series - in the first two games of the series, the protagonist Abe must save his race from slavery, not as much as Mukodons were going to be turned into food... Plus, in Abe's Exoddus, the bad guys were using the spirits of Abe's ancensters to create a very strange juice with miraculous powers... I also suspect that in the portion of time from the dream that I don't remember, I may have eliberated those spirits from the hamburgers and somehow... But that doesn't make great sense either.
Throughout the relatively numerous comments of my last blog, I've read the messages of people who don't believe that I actually own Big Rigs... The truth is that... I actually have that game. My father has the bad habit of picking up lots of budget games, and while most of the games from the D3 are relatively decent, he also buys lots of sub-mediocre stuff. I still remember that day when he bought Big Rigs along with another game that later on proved to be the same Big Rigs but with a different name. I always thought Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing was a very weird name, but I never played that game enough to see that you could always drive over the road. :| If you haven't already checked out the video review for Big Rigs, do it now. It is one of the most hilarious video reviews ever.
Last night I had a weird dream (well, all dreams are weird but this one...) out of which I remember especially the part when one of my friends leaves the house in which I was (oddly enough, I never remember seeing those rooms), next thing I see a room full of politicians (including Basescu, the president of Romania!). I don't know what's the connection between me and that meeting, nor what my friend has to do with that meeting - maybe that's what I was watching at TV in the meantime. At some point, a politicans whispers something not-so-nice regarding the president and Basescu heard and started shouting at her. After that, I remember that I was looking at a box (I really don't have any idea how did it get there) in which there was a fake guitar similar to those used for Guitar Hero. After looking at it, I hear my friend coming on the door and I quickly closed the box and put it up on a shelf (don't know why). I vaguely remember that before leaving I heard from my friend something like "Don't touch that when we're gone"... That was the only part from the dream I remember, I don't remember if we actually played Guitar Hero or what happened before and/or afterwards...
These days I keep hearing many things about Guitar Hero from my friends and contacts (ShenlongBo, Zaps, EightBitWarrior and so on...) and probably I have a subconstient desire to try that game (never played any Guitar Hero)... Or maybe my alter-ego still wants to hear some rock music from the period I used to watch MTV2... Maybe that would explain why I had few days ago the sudden urge to listen again to Interpol's "NYC" and The Strokes' "Hard to Explain"...
Man, I've been trying for a half an hour to post a very large post but I keep encountering the "HTML not well-formed" error that doesn't let me post. It wouldn't be so frustrating if I would knew where's the problem, but if there's something with the code then why I don't see it? Huh?
I am so pissed off right now that I would throw a guitar on the window... if I had a guitar.
EDIT: Wait a minute... Yes! It works! I have temporary disabled the advance editor so now I don't have those errors anymore. :D
EDIT 2: It seems that, even so, without the editor, I have problems if I post something more than IMG code - for eg., the HTML not well-formed error is displayed when I try to make a part of the text bold or when putting spoilers. That's right, my unusually grown beard (for someone of my age, I have to mention) had its first shave. I am a complete noob on these things so my dad offered to shave me and also learn me the basics...
OK, stay cool, Florin... Stay cool... Okay, I can't take it anymore! Since my blog about my Digg stalker(s), I noticed yesterday that I got 6 more of those referrals... Either there is a glitch or somebody must really love my blog... I can't find any other explanation! The blogs are the only things in my profile that can be digged! Or maybe that somebody isn't necessarily using the "Digg this" button?!...
I am so lazy! So lazy that I haven't managed to add my entire game collection since I've started this account (not that I would finish adding the whole collection too soon...), but now since I don't have anything to do, I've decided to start with my Xbox collection
(between adding some of my Dreamcast or NeoGeo Pocket Color games, of course)...
Speaking about games, let's take a look at some of the games I look forward to right now.
First of all, Echochrome. I've noticed it in Jeff Gerstmann's tracking games list (and also in someone else's list) so I decided to take a look at the screenshots and especially at the trailer from E3... Man, it looks sweet. I love the games with minimalistic art st*yle like vib-ribbon or fl0w Sony releases from time to time - and that's exactly what I want. Definitely has a spot on my wish list.
Speaking about this kind of games, I'm also looking forward to LocoRoco 2. The developers haven't reveiled too many details, but taking a look at their plans, I can say that LocoRoco 2 might as well turn out to be another experimental cult clas*sic. Along with LittleBigPlanet, of course. ;)
What really got me excited is the preview article for Burnout Paradise. I loved Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge. Of course, I tried hard to complete them 100%, but I never managed to do that. Though I did found Burnout Revenge as more of an update than a new game, I did enjoyed the traffic checking mode, so I was really excited to found out that in Burnout Paradise you will be able to do this while free roaming the city! That's just great news, the open cities from the NFS series were one of the main reasons why I still liked these recent installments in the series and I am really nervous to see how good the free roaming mode will be in Burnout. I can say from now that this game totally deserves the subtitle "Paradise".
Since I've mentioned NFS, I am also looking forward to NFS: ProStreet even though I am not necessarily excited about the new direction of the series. We sure need a breath of fresh air in the series, but the absences of modes such as free roam and pursuits that helped the gameplay of the last few NFS games a lot isn't something I necessarily welcome... Plus, I found out that very few super cars will be in the game! Honestly, I would prefer racing with no-name cars like in Burnout than having to race most of the times with tuners I don't feel too warm and fuzzy about... Will see, will see.
And to end up on a more humorous note, today when I was returning from shopping I've seen in a car a baby... that was apparently driving to drive the car (even though it was parked, but don't tell him that...). Man, I should have had a photo camera or a film camera or something, his face was very hilarious, reminded me of those funky "PWNED!" pics I seen on the Internet in places like System Wars...
Now I've switched my former Atjazz avatar with the cover of an even more obscure album. This time, the album is called "Veggie", it was made in 2002 and it's from a Norwegian band simply called Food. What kind of music they do? Well, you can define it as "experimental jazz", but "really, really weird stuff" sums it up better.
Well, I would really want a banner that would match the avatar, but I've tried several times to do something similar to the shapes from the cover in Paint and I've failed miserably. :( Can someone who's more experienced with Photoshop or Gimp simply take the image, paste it on a white background and write with big letters "FOOD VEGGIE"? Please. :)
