Rainy Day...

Bleah. The weather it is so rainy outside that it makes me feel depressed... And sometimes when I feel like this I listen to a certain album - "6" by Supersilent. An album full of weird experimental music that suits very well my mood. Supersilent is a very interesting band - bands and artists that perform in a similar style aren't something new, but the fascinating thing about Supersilent is that the members of the band never talk to each other between concerts - all of their albums are in fact live recordings - and never write songs - they are just improvising them on the stage. They are doing a very good job, just that you need to be in the mood for it to fully appreciate it.

Other than that, the community announcement Kevin Vanord made today really surprised me. I am very anxious to see how the surveys will look like. :)

Somebody really Diggs me...

...so much that he/she/whoever it is put on Digg 26 referalls of my blogs. What's weird though is that I couldn't found on the Digg site anything about me. :?

My Albums 7-30-2007

Since probably very few of you decided to take a look at my "Images" tab, I decided to tell you over here about my photo albums. There are blog entries about video blogs so why wouldn't I do the same thing about my photo albums? I will do a couple of more entries on this subject, so that you wouldn't miss my new images. :P

Most probably you never heard of any of those games, but still maybe you will find the images interesting like I do. :) Enjoy!

My album for the Dreamcast series GuruGuru Onsen/Around the Hot Springs in translation from Japanese

My album dedicated to the PSP puzzle game Kotoba no Puzzle: Mojipittan Daijiten

My album dedicated to the PSP mahjong game Shanghai (ignore the fact that the last few images are associated with the wrong Shanghai because the platform brackets weren't present in the search bar for some reason)

Labfunk

I haven't changed my avatar in a while - so now I've selected another cover, this time the cover of "Labfunk", a brilliant nu-jazz album from Atjazz. The artwork isn't as impressive as Lemon Jelly's artworks, but it's colorful and minimalistic. :)

If you haven't catched my Ponsardin period or simply want to dive in the nostalgia pool, you can now view my Ponsardin account. Why did I made it public? Read theblog entry in there. Oh and, I still get tons of trackings and friend requests on that account, even though it has been closed for some while. :?

Chill Out

This day it's cooler than the previous days. It's still heat at sun, but it's windy and it's pretty cool in the shadows.

I'm pretty glad that I've reached over at Last.fm the milestone of 3,000 tracks played. The 3,000th track I've played (since 20 Feb 2007 when I reset my stats over there) is "Pneumonia" by Bjork from her latest album, "Volta". :)

Code Orange (Heat Level 4)

For the moment, the entire south of the country is on code orange - meaning that the average temperature is at least 38 degrees Celsius. Now, the heat is almost unbearable... I don't even what to know how it's like on code red...

Pearls of Randomness

So, Florin, let's take a look at our recent forum postssection:

Board: [some obscure board with mods posting... years ago]
Topic: Welcome!
Message: Hello... Is there anybody here?

Hm. Boring. Let's take a look down.

Board: Halo 2 over rated
Topic: No it's not
Message: [quoting some guy with an avatar that says "Die Crazy Teddy!"] I guess Master Chief wouldn't kill that crazy teddy bear. :|

Board: Macintosh
Topic: Macintosh fanboys (it was about what nickname do Mac fanboys get)
Message: [quoting a message posted on my previous account, "Yucatans, maybe?..."] No, Jobs never heard of that brand.

Board... Oh wait a minute, this one... I can't tell you that. Next one...

Board: Margarine: Good, Good, Good!
Topic: The fridge lights are always on for some reason (refering to the UCB description)
Message: Anyway, I don't like margarine, it really spoils the taste of the whole... thing.

[QUOTE="Secret"]Wait this was a forum on the old GS Forums!I remember it was called Ask Boat!Viennoiserie
Yeah, I remember that too... What happened?

He travelled in forbidden waters so they took him his board. :( Now, he's anchored all the time.

Time for some predicts...

Board: Anything
Topic: This is now more active
Message: Everyone will move here when Off-Topic Discussion will explode because of the religion threads...

And delight of the day...

Board: Bleh
Topic: Bleh? What kind of title is that?
Message: Hippos are indeed fun, but I hardly think that argument would hold water in this panda-like, materialistic society of hat-wearing goats that think "bleh" is an answer. Something must be done and quick! Look at all the raging hedgehogs that watched so much Huff to the point that they need a psychoanalysis to properly deal with their personal frustrations that doesn't let them hold a pen! This seems to be the end of the world...

You just read a fragment from my latest book, called "Bleh. Randomness at it's zenith". Whatever zenith means... No batteries included.

My First Music Review In Months

Here it is. A review of a trip-hop album released in 1995 by Earthling, called "Radar". I've enjoyed the album, it's one of the best trip-hop albums I've discovered in the past few months. Initially I should have posted this on MP3.com, but that site doesn't let me to edit or delete my premilinary version of the review, so I posted it on my journal on Last.fm. I love that I can put links to artists' pages and also streamable songs can be previewed quickly, and anyway I will have more feedback than on MP3.com... Anyway, I hope that you will enjoy it as much as my GameSpot reviews... Gotta go now and take a break!

Butterfly Caught (Hoax)

Man, I should have really checked out a news site. It seems that it was in fact just an accident involving a train with tons of phosphorus... Which is the most active non-metal, but still I thought it was uranium or something like that! Also, the authorities from Ukraine announced that Romania won't be so affected by the effects of this disaster... Thank God!
