IpodHero176 Blog

2nd song this week.

This is the second song this week, so you have to wait until next week to see what songs I'll post. This song has become one of my favorites. This is Three Days Grace with Animal I've Become. I couldn't find the original video, but this video is good though. Comment your opinions of this.Thanks.

ps. There is really no offensive material.

A new thing I'm going to do

Hi everyone, I've decided that twice every week I'm going to post a music video on my blog. I'm going to try to get the original music videos for the songs, not game amvs with the songs, but if I can't(like in this case), I will post the game(or anime)amv with the song I got. Please leave a comment telling your opinion.

Now, enjoy some All American Rejects:)

Heroes is Back!!

Heroes comes back on tomorrow. Now, I get to see the new saga about who is on the list. For me, the best part of this is I can see one of the hottest and most beautiful girls on tv(Hayden Panettiere, my dream girl  ). I just wanted to tell you this because it's one of my favorite shows(the other is Smallville) and since it's coming back, I thought you would like to be reminded. It comes on NBC at 9 eastern/8 central.

Been a bad week for me.

This week has been really bad for me. First, I leave the football team because I was getting dehydrated while working out in the weight-room(if you think you can't get dehydrated in the weight-room, think again) and a JV coach(they are hanging around us for what reason?) gets 5 inches in my face, telling me to work harder. I was trying, but I needed water, but he wouldn't let me go until I picked up the bar. I just couldn't, so I just kept trying to control my breathing, which would in turn, help me pick it up. He kept saying that if I can't put my all in here, then I would cause the team to lose. First off, when we were playing, I was barely put in the games( they always put someone not fit for the position in it). Next, if I did JV next year, you wouldn't put me in anyways. Now, I'm not bragging on how good I am( I think I'm ok, but not the best, even though my team says I'm real good), but when you put a skinny kid that's normally a reciever in the Defensive Line instead of someone that YOU, THE COACH TRAINED, then that's saying something. I lost it after that, and didn't want to be working 100% in practice and not going anywhere because the coach likes this person because they're fast or because they get the exercises done faster. 2 days after leaving, most of my so-called 'friends' are calling me a quitter and a loser(even though they keep asking me to come back). Some friends huh? Now some are cool about it and after I tell them about it, they go on with their lives, but most of them are on the basketball team and don't know yet. If I cared what they thought, then I wouldn't of left, but if I cared, then I wouldn't be playing FF and watching anime (they called me a nerd for playing that and watching anime). They tell me to pick up Madden, and while I have nothing against the series(I want to try it out someday), it only increases the stereotype of sports players playing a sports videogame they play.

Anyways, I wanted school to close because it was too cold to go to school yesterday(I live in Houston,TX), but my school didn't close so I had to take my French test, which was long and we barely got time to finish up the test today, but after begging, we got to finish it. I also had an English test, but I think I did ok on it. Then, I need to buy another Ipod Nano, but I have no money for it.

On a lighter note, Harmonix is coming out with Drum Hero, Guitar Villian, Keyboard Hero, Drum Villian, and Band Hero. Also, I got bored in Study Hall, so I made an idea for a videogame, which started off as a little thing to do, but now is a full-blowned idea. I have the 360,PS2,PS3, and Wii controls down, as well as the storyline and the characters in the game. Now, I'm working on the leveling up system in the game. It's a FPS/RPG(kinda imagine a FF world and characters with Oblivion(and a little GRAW-like)gameplay. The story is a little old school, but pretty good. I really hope next week is better, Heroes is coming back then(next Monday), so it might be a little better.

Hey! Check this out!! LOL

I was just browsing around and saw this. I remember when this came out on SNL and thought that I should show it to all my friends. So watch it and post a comment.

Strange 360 thing

My parents got a huge, and I mean HUGE, tv( I think it's HD, wait, it is). Our old tv that had to be at least 10 years old now belonged to me. I, of course, hooked up my 360 to it to play Dead or Alive 4. When I was playing, the ventilation, of course was blowing, but louder than usual. I put in Oblivion, and it was the same thing. I convinced my parents to let me put my 360 outside in the living room, onto the new tv. When I played DOA4 on it, the air wasn't ventilating as loud as it was on my tv. I think the problem was that, to channel the power of the 360 and hold the power of the 360, the tv was working overtime on it. The 360 was giving off so much air because it was cramming all that power into the tv. It runs fine now(and with less loading times).

Funny thing at Wal-Mart

I was at Wal-Mart today, checking out some games(just window shopping, there was nothing else to do there). I wanted to check out the Ipods, but I couldn't get through because this guy, his friend, and his girlfriend were hanging around, while the guy was playing GH2(they had it for playing, and it was the real game too). I tried to go around, but there was no other path. The guy was playing Surrender, and he wasn't doing too good with it(the game booed him off at 9%). I was sick of waiting for them, so I picked up the guitar and tried it(it was on medium mode). I rocked that song so hard, while they were looking all surprised. The girlfriend just started laughing out loud so hard, while his friend said how I could beat that song, and he couldn't. I read on GameFAQs where someone brought their memory card and jammed to Jessica, and I was thinking of doing that, but that's just arrogance right there.

I actually beat Freebird!!!

Today, when I was playing GH2(I breezed through the first 3, after though, it got difficult), I got to final tier. I performed Misrlou easily, followed by Hangar 18, Institutionalized, and last, but not least, Beast and the Harlot. After that one, it asked me for an encore with Freebird. I thought I'd suck at it, but I did very well(4 stars out of 5 was my score). I didn't even know how I was able to do that well. Now, I'm going to try to perfect Freebird, Thunderhorse, Psychobilly Freakout, and Carry Me Home.
