@TransvormerSCol Well the reason "how can not they realize the green lights equipped on the protagonist is head" is apparently the lights are infrared. Also the 3 green dot symbol is a great branding icon to market the game further. Also it's a game. Look at any game and you can find flaws. Suspend your disbelief. It's the whole point of gaming.
The last game I remember that "anyone can just pick up and play" was The Sims. Not just because it was intuitive but because it was so far removed from most games out there that most people wanted to give it a go. The problem with games today aiming for both hardcore AND casual gamers is approach-ability. As arrogant as it sounds, hardcore gamers know how to play games better than casual gamers. They don't need tutorials;they don't need contextual instant takedown events; they don't need visual markers or any other cheap trick to make things easier for them. Generally, they know how things are going to pan out and have an idea of game play mentality. You want to aim for both demographics? Fine, make something that no one has played before. Don't water down a game to pander to both markets. Or you'll end up with a shallow game like dishonored.
Dear god, the last thing we need is a game that requires people to think! When I sit down to play a stealth game I dont want to have to make decisions. I need the game to tell me exactly what to do and when to do it. I don't have time to be making all these decisions on my own.
