"Even though we do have core fans who are like, 'Oh, I want to have more of this experience,' when you play any other game that has stealth elements, they're all a lot more forgiving than Splinter Cell"
Splinter Cell is a stealth game with action elements in it, not an action game with stealth elements. Other games are alot more forgiving because its not a stealth focused game therefore you have to dumb those parts down. Also, if she looked at more core stealth games I'm sure she'd see that they do also have planning routes of "attack". Thief, MGS, Rainbow Six, Hitman all have these. If you wanna make an action game just call it that. Stop trying to rebrand a genre.
As much as I like to pay the developer for their creative works, money still talks. When a game sits at 100 bucks (sometimes 120) I'm gonna wait and buy it used at the 40 - 60 dollar mark.
Mate, you wouldnt know many 30 year olds would you? In fact its not surprising that the average age is that seeing as they would be the ones to grow up with games during its sudden arise to the mainstream.
