There's nothing in the survey this guy received that even hints at the possibility that EA would make a console.  His speculations are entirely the product of his imagination.

The survey asks a lot of questions about 'What features are important to you in a next-gen console', but that only means that EA wants to know which platforms purchasers of different EA games are likely to adopt.  If game A will sell better on system Q but game B will sell better on system Z, EA would like to know about it.

Let's put it this way.  Until people stop standing in line for the opportunity to pay $250 for a Wii, you who are only willing to pay $150 will just have to wait.

FF:CC is for the Gamecube, Wii, and DS!

Hehe, games with the same initials are fun.

Wii has run out of system sellers, will stop selling good soon.

conceru3

If Nintendo needs a sales spike, they just release a game called "Wii such-and-such".  You'll probably think it's crap, but it'll keep the Wiis moving.

Nintendo doesn't need to worry about selling systems right now.  Their competitors do.

[QUOTE="Teh_Stevz"][QUOTE="Javy03"]Why do people get it wrong. There are two parts to the equation. Demand and SUPPLY. Just because you see consoles available at stores doesnt mean the demand is slow, it could very much mean the SUPPLY is just that far ahead. They shipped 1 million to Europe, that is more then any other console on launch day and your suprised to see some in the stores. I go to the supermaket and see milk there, I guess nobody drinks milk anymore.Tylendal
I get you there but the milk analogy is a little weak. Thing is, when the sale numbers are produced it will show you the demand for a product. If the Wii is continuously selling out and selling more than the other two then that should be an open/shut case.

You cannot justify the PS3's availability by saying there is overwhelming supply. All this means is that there are not even a million people who are overly enthusiastic about getting a PS3.

I thought that 5 million would buy it on day one, no matter what it was, even if it didn't have any games.

I don't thinks so. I've been playing TW PGA 07 and I can tell you playing in standard control mode takes skill and proper coordination, just like real golf does. I hope they can figure out ways to implement wii-mote motion controls, but I've only heard mostly about how they are using the old GC contoller. That would be problematic however since most new wii owners might never have owned a GC, and if anyone has noticed, Game Cube related accesories are fading fast in retail stores.Darthmatt

On the other hand, most Smash Bros. fans have GCN controllers out the wazoo.  And what I've noticed is that stores in my area are now stocking more GCN accessories than they were last year.

And several steps higher than arguing about arguing about games on the internet.

If you don't want to read arguments about games on the internet, go away.

Awareness of being pathetic is important to those affected.

That's a very ambiguous sentence.  Perhaps you should recast it with a more precise object.
