Haha, let me guess, you're going to be a freshman, right? They always panic over "back to school shopping" like you're doing. They go out and buy a ton of crap thinking that their dorm rooom needs to function as a mini-house when in reality they'll never use any of it. Here's what I bring to my dorm room: - Computer - Bed sheets - Clothes - Towel - Laundry detergent - Basic hygenic stuff (soap, shampoo, razors, shaving cream, etc.) - Maybe 1 or 2 game consoles - iPod - Chargers for iPod and cell phone - A *few* dishes and utensils (1 pot, 1 bowl, 1 fork, 1 spoon, 1 knife, 1 plate, 1 cup, 1 baking sheet) - Backpack I then buy the school supplies at the school bookstore when I get my books (usually winds up being a few folders, some paper, some pencils, and a pen). After that I've got everything I will ever use while up at school. It takes me about 20 minutes to move in completely to a dorm and that's how long it should take for everyone. Also, protip: Don't waste money on toilet paper, napkins, and paper towels. Just do what I do and loot the university bathrooms. Sure, you don't get great quality stuff, but who cares, it's free. LOL Im not moving out, the college Im going to is just like 10 min by car. BUT I dont have any folders or papers or anything :/

Well thats M$ for ya. To me Kinect is pointless and a flop but if it could read sign language then thats is a pretty big thing that could really be very usefull in life. I can see sign language cameras in malls, stores, restaurants, ect. in the future. Too bad M$ pulled out, Kinect could of been a start to something great.
