a failure that atleast had some really good and fun games to play (smash bros, RES 4, Metroid prime 1+2, Zelda TP mario partys and a whole bunch of others that id hav 2 go back into my nintendo mag libary to find)
im guessing this is only a case in the US because here in the UK its very easy to get one i could go out to like Argos, GAME or HMVtomorrow and get one and its bin like that for atleast a month now well atleast here in London i dunno about anywhere else in the UK
"XBL doesn't even have something like Playstation Home(which is free)" -I swear there had been rumors about home not being free and as a responce to that guy with the ring of death picwhy would a company keep a service free for 3-4 years then start charging for it? wouldnt really make any sense, i say as soon as sales of ps3's go up because of home sony will start charging for it to make up for the money they lost during it first 7 months.
you complain that the 360 has a lack of variety based on the games you own when really the problem seems to be that your only buying shooters. i own a 360 and more than half my games are not shooters SO basically just start choosing games that dont contain guns duh! oh and by the way your not a guy with guns in perfect dark :P

I'm just wondering if its just here in Europe or are all stores becoming very desperate to sell this console with the brand name of sony and the fact that both it predecessors were the winners of their gen you would think the console would sell itself plus it does luk mighty cool :), for instance GAME (www.game.net) were after the first few weeks upon release started giving away free HDMI cables, then a month later are now giving away free games, i also find it strange that the console is still readily available while the Wii has only just come back in stock! . so really what im asking is any ps3 owners out there feeling abit worried that they backed the wrong console and are their any possible future owners who are feeling like they should leave it awhile longer and see how things work out ?
whats wierd is that after mentioning all these possible actuall differences between the elite and the other 2 packages is that you never actually said what these things were e.g saying that they have changed things on the inside but never said any of wot these changes are either way i jst fail to belive this but if its true good news for all the elite adopters.
More powerful ??? u do realise that the 360(core+premium) are the same as the 360 elite apart from not being black and not having hdmi they are the same exact consoles on the inside. for someone who uses gamespot you dont seem to know alot about games but im sure the lovely people on SW will educate you. :P
