We can only hope. I never said that these consoles aren't up to snuff. I am saying that sometimes I wonder why they complain about system pricing, when money spent on games eclipses the system pretty fast even at launch.

I say give the developers as badass of a machine as you can. In the long term it would be better.

There will hopefully be a re release on the new consoles for GTA 5. Hoepfully bundled with all the dlc at some point in time.

Of course. But even something as awesome as GTA V... really late into development runs like a snail on my PS3.

Frame rate is crap.

I am just afraid that with graphic fidelity pushing harder and harder... we're still gonna be stuck with 'decent' frame rates on consoles.

Development time means either better frame rates or better graphics.

We want both ya know?

Love GTA V too. But it runs like shit on my PS3. These current gen consoles are being pushed beyond their limits.

The pc version or next gen version should be perfect. To be honest...

If Microsoft and Sony agree to place the price poitn there... then it would've been forced.

Apple doesn't move an inch on pricing. Overpriced? Probably... but people still buy a new iphone each time.

It's obviously a pricing/performance thing. I wonder if we're better off buying 600 to 700 dollar consoles. (Blasphemy.. I know)

The price is high... but considering that this is supposed to last 10 years, I think it'd be worth every penny in the long run. If you can't afford it... wait till a price drop.

How many dumb games have we bought over the years... take away two of those and you now have even more powerful hardware instead.

Like I said, to me until the games arrive, it won't matter. And I'll say it again the games won't be hugely different graphically. The difference is not a GTX 660 vs a 780.

Especially early on I predict a stalemate.

To be honest, I was disappointed at the (hypothetical) graphical horsepower in both machines, considering what is out right now.
