@_Binx_ @JJ_Productions Absolutely incorrect. I cannot in anyway relate to any editor or journalist on this site except through the medium of gaming. Sense of humor and personal preferences stem from culture, and as I said, the people who represent this site come from a different culture then the one I come from.
There are other blogs where individuals who come from the same culture as I, review games and what not, and the insight and perspective is completely refreshing and new compared to what I get on most major gaming sites.
For ex. Me being someone who was raised in the church, I kinda cringe at some of the comments and philosophies being promoted on this site. However, I found a blog where the individual is a minister, but loves gaming. He isn't preaching while talking about games of course not, but his beliefs are the foundation of his approach to gaming. It adds a refreshing insight into gaming and the game industry. Just my 2 cents.
I know this might get me modded but I just can't help but speak my mind on this. What is with the overabundance of white people on this site? I'm not telling gamespot to be more diverse with their hiring but things like this turn me off from this site. Why? Because I can't relate to these people other then the games. Whether it be their humor or even personal preferences. There are other sites with more diverse bloggers who bring a fresh perspective to gaming. Just putting it out there.
All in all, its annoying coming to a game site looking for games, yet on the main page i'm seeing a collage with white people all over the place, whether it be a woman, a scruffy unkempt man, or a transexual trying to turn every game into a platform for gays. Try showing more game footage, and less personalities.
@Infinite_Access Not to mention the fact that back then, we were youngins, and we were subject to the games our parents bought us. Now we are grown with our own money to spend. A new generation is ready to spend on their favorite franchises.
I am crushed at this news. I thought F Zero would have been expected since it made an appearance on Nintendo Land. Nintendo, you have left me a bit disappointed this month. E3 was okay, not as good as I expected, but now this? If games take 3 years to develop and their is no plans in the future for F Zero then it looks like we ain't getting it and if we do, it will be at the end of the Wii U's generation. C'mon Nintendo what the hell.
At first I was surprised to hear this, but then I thought about Monster Hunters 3 Wii U and 3DS's completely unsynchronized cross play. Seriously, I would play on the 3DS my bro would play on the Wii U, and enemies would appear in different spots, to the point that my brothers character would be slicing at air on my 3DS screen.
Hopefully that was just bad coding because that completely turned me off in terms of immersion.
