You can't use a Visa gift card over Xbox Live, because I had a $100 one a few months ago and tried..... once you type in the card information as a payment method and it starts to process, it recognizes it's a gift card and wont allow you to use it. At least this is what happenend to me, you might as well try it out anyway and maybe it will somehow work.

Sounds neat, hopefully EA has the rights to bring back Road Rash because we're long overdue for another addition into that great series.

The best setup you can use with the 360 and a surround sound system is with the RGB Component cables for the HD video and the digital optical audio output built into the 360 component adapter - plugged into the surround sound system. Thats the ideal setup a 360 allows and the one I primarily use which sounds phenomenal, although theres a decent amount of sound systems that don't have digital optical audio inputs, but if you do - it's certainly worth going out and buying a cord for relatively cheap from somewhere like Walmart and truly experiencing 5.1 digital surround sound with your games because it's a vastly greater experience if you do so.

I'm hoping you know that you can plug the RGB High Def cables from the 360 into your HDTV and plug the red/white audio cords into the sound system at the same time(you don't have to use the standard-def yellow video cord). I've had the same problem using an HDMI cable, but my HDTV has an audio output that I can plug separate Red/White audio cables into and put the input into the surround system.

After watching the new multiplayer trailer, I'm a little more skeptical if I want to buy this game when its released. It's still the basic-enjoyable CoD gameplay, but it seems like Treyarch is trying to slightly revamp the customizable features just for the sake of differentiating it from previous CoD's. I'm not sure I want to pay $60 for a few new features/maps/weapons/gamemodes that arent too different from WaW or MW2.

wow, I wasnt planning on buying another FPS this year, but the new multiplayer elements sound rather interesting for Black Ops. I'll have to wait and see how these turn out

I was a die-hard Perfect Dark/Goldeneye N64 fan mostly due to the multiplayer features, so a few friends and I played through some of the Timesplitters game's since they were developed by several ex-members of RARE who worked on the great N64 games, and I have to say they were rather disappointing in comparison to Perfect Dark on N64 and some of the newer FPS games that were out around the time the Timesplitters games came out. The controls were annoying, the game engine felt awkward, and the cartoonish graphic design was lame. The one redeeming aspect was the insanely fun multiplayer, and the incredible amount of depth it had, but all of those negative features I mentioned prevented this game from having long term use, but instead was a game I played for about a week or so with friends.... and then permanently never played again. However, I think a Timesplitters 4 would be great for the current-gen consoles because it would be completely different from all of the generic FPS games that have flooded the market over the past few years. If they kept/expanded on the immense depth of multiplayer and overhauled the gameplay engine, this could easily turn out to be one of the better FPS's to come along in a while.

I know Waner Bros now owns the rights to the Mortal Kombat franchise, but does this mean they also own the rights to all of the previous Midway developed MK games (MK 1,2,3, etc.) and can re-release them in the future?

Medal of Honor and CoD: Black Ops seems like they will offer nothing really new at all. I'm most likely gonna hold off on getting another FPS until next year since there will be yet another CoD and Battlefield game amongst others coming out then.
