I'd prefer the PC to come with windows 7 and if it could run the follow games fairly smoothly:
Fallout new vegas (when released)
Sims 3
Team Fortress 2
Maybe Gta 4 although my friend says this is a fairly spec demanding game.
If you have any suggestions for decent PC's within my price range could you please send me a private message so i have something permanent to refer back to. Also being an absolute tech noob im not looking for a build it yourself job as i would have no idea on where to start.

core 2 quad q8400, 4gb ddr2-800 gts 250 for $516 and change (including VAT)
this will do all of the above and then some come with windows 7 home 64-bit, mouse and keyboard. need to come up with a monitor and speakers/headphones however. not a bad buy youd be almost on par with me if i were to take one of my gpu's out.. :P
here ill even run the system requirements of gta 4 against this bad boy:
cpu required core 2 quad q6700 @ 2.4ghz you have core 2 quad q8400 2.66ghz, hd 4870 = you have a gts 250 these two are roughly equal in preformance, 2gb ram vs your 4gb ram. idk it sells itself.
This to me looks good but then again i really have no idea what makes a pc good/bad. Im sure i can pick up a decent monitor fairly cheap from somewhere to go along with this, i was reading somewhere that some cards or something cant handle certain screen resolutions or something of the other. Is this the case here? if so what screen size should i be looking for? To the other people on this forum. As much as i would like to build my own pc i am not exactly good with this kind of thing, anything fiddly would really get me frustrated and i'd end up breaking something. If i had the money to buy the parts and maybe have extra to re-buy all the stuff i am likely to break and with someone who knows what they are doing then would go for it.
