@Jag-T1000: As I said below, you get 1000 every time you level up. Its still not fast, and 75-100 fight money per win would prob feel a lot better, but its supposed to be a grind to get free chars. All in all its not that out of wack, esp as I doubt you will see more then one DLC char per month, and most likely it will be one every 2 months or more on average.

This is fairly in line, maybe a bit on the low end for MOBA style games and getting new characters. LoL you a new char is like 7800 points. You get like 75-150 per win for matches that last 20-45+mins. Bonus 100 or something for first win of the day. So you are expected to play 25 hours or so a month if you want a free character.

I thought I heard Capcom may be adding daily bonuses for completing certain goals as well for more fight money.

@lokar82: Never played a MOBA I see. This isnt uncommon for games with free to play content. You get 50 per match which include casual matches, but you also get 1000 every time you level up. I have almost 200k. Also the reason they gave you 10k per char for the story mode is so you would actually have some fight money to spend, and basically have a free character, and a free costume. It doesnt have anything to do with fight money for online matches.

WOW! Did not expect that! That is really cool of Capcom to put him out for free, even if its only temporary! Was not a character I was looking into buying so be nice to at least tinker with him for a while! Baffling the Zenny isnt ready or couldnt be in place for the update, but what ever I guess. I prob wont end up with every DLC character, least not any time soon, but I dont plan on spending any real world money for them.

Didnt get into the Boarderlands, or GoTs, but Really enjoyed the others! This sounds AWESOME! Esp with the M rating!

@tsunami2311: Its low budget and fan made, but if you look past that it is 1000x better then the SF movie. Its actually pretty damn well done! Should check out Assassin's Fist.
