The fact that RDR1 is only available to PC players as the console version via streaming already is indication enough that games from the franchise will never set foot on PC via a port.

What I would give for an openworld Western FPS RPG on PC, maybe even have some minor fantasy elements involving ghost towns with ghosts and native American magic. The closet that we ever got was Gun but that was third person without any fantasy elements, and it can be considered the precursor to the RDR games. I should note that I have played every other Western game for PC.

@eli150: Look, the fact that RDR1 is only available to PC players via streaming indicates that they won't ever have any intentions to release an actual PC port of any games in the particular franchise unlike their other franchises such as GTA.

CoD has been terrible for a long time now, I would even go as far as to say that the first game was overrated when a much better WW2 shooter such as Hidden and Dangerous 2 was overlooked and that was released before CoD1. The only CoD game which I even remotely liked was Finest Hour.
