[QUOTE="mindstorm"][QUOTE="THE_BRUTALIZER"]

yeah, we will never be equal

women are smarter, men are stronger, women do not have penis we do, women tend to have much more bitter rivalries than men, men always try to impress women....its been the same for billions of years, it aint gonna change.

StrawberryHill

I agree aside from men and women never being treated equally. I believe men and women have equal worth but have differing roles...

I agree. Men and women should be appreciated for their different strengths and weaknesses. Differences should be celebrated and used for good. If the differences between men and women were truly embraced, and both genders respected equally, societies would become much stronger. Holy books teach this principle, but unfortunately, it is seldom practiced the way it was written.

What differences are there to embrace and what roles are women supposed to play then?

What I am trying to say is that equal rights is impossible, because they have two different natures, which are not equal, they are different. but all woman should be treated as all woman are treated, same with men in a sense. I remember in my constitutional law class where blacks and whites can be separated as long as they are equals among themselves.

Also on the lesser sentence thing, yeah it is a lot of crap, this whole pandering to woman has gone too far, woman see men as door mats to be honest.

Lets not even mention the marriage rates, birth rates, and the divorce rates... Oops too late.

Equality is a bunch of crap, if they are equal, then somehow the man has to also get pregnant, when having sex, they have to be in the same position, when working both have to have just as much work. They both have to do the same exact things, dont you see what happens, there identities are demolished. I think what is going these days, it woman are generally having identity crises, men are also though. Also one thing I have observed, is men are getting lazy, to the point they rely on a woman, so there identity is destroyed. Suddenly they are put in the position of taking care of kids, etc, honestly I dont think fathers are very appealing care-takers.

I think both should just be treated with more respect, not equal respect, but better respect, if one gets a little more out of it, oh well. Its just like communism, it is not about being better, just being even, then you destroy identities.

You are confusing different natures with the notion of equal rights.

If I get assaulted by a woman, I would give her a black eye regardless of whether or not I go to jail. Self-defense is firstly in my instinct, and secondly my right.

Some mobo makers have a dual bios implanted on their boards. Just curious...who is the maker of your board? If it's Gigabyte, I'd give them a call and see if they can't help you. If not, give the mobo maker a call anyways and see if they can help you out. BTW, have you tried pulling out the battery (3v) located near your south bridge, or lower if your north and south bridge are on the same chip. The battery keeps your CMOS RAM going. By pulling it out, you should revert to your CMOS ROM's preferences instead. As stated above, if you aren't familiar with any of the steps listed above, doing a bit of research before attempting to troubleshoot your BIOS will help you out greatly. Another thing to check for is your "beeps." When you first start your computer, you should hear 1 beep rather quickly. That beep means your computer has finished it's POST (Power On Self-Test) and is looking for your OS to take over. If you aren't hearing any beeps, then it points to problems with your BIOS. If you hear multiple beeps, you'll have to look them up online (or check your mobo manual) and see what the maker of your mobos error beep codes are. Best of luck to you friend.joseph_mach
I have an Asus. I'm not sure if I understand where the battery switch is... do I have to take off the case? I already did a bit of research. And thanks.

Unplug your power cable then remove the watch battery thing from your motherboard....wait 5 minutes then re-inster the battery and turn on your PC...should be fine then.

What's the watch battery thing? Do I have to take off the case for that?

So I fooled around with the BIOS overclocking options, and being the inexperienced overclocker I kinda messed up my whole PC. Now I can't even see the boot menu when I start my PC; just a black screen of... nothingness after my overclocking attempt failed. What now?
