I think May is going to be one of the best months for PC gamers with great games like Witcher 2, Brink, Fable III, Dungeon Siege, Hunted: Demons Forge, and F3ear. Im gonna be sooo busy :D

Anyone know a good tip or even cheats that can help me out with The Last Remnant?? I keep dying way too fast and its still early in the game. The enemies keep flanking me and totally destroying everyone in my group. Any Help would be appreciated
thank you guys, really appreciate it
ive been reading on people buying games on D2D and "unlocking" it on steam. is that true? how do you do it? it sounds way more convenient.
just get NBA 2k11 its way better and its only $19.99 on Steam and DTD. and you got more people playing online.
good point, it makes senseIn my opinion the developers themselves are partly to blame for piracy. Simply because it feels like 95% of games just never get any kind of demo or trial. So we are forced to buy blind and all too often i have paid 30-40 pound for a game (no small sum of money) only for me to never play it again after 1 go because the game simply sucks or is just not to my liking.
I don't pirate games because of that but i will download a game first if i am considering to buy it. Think of that what you will, i don't care. I am not wasting my money anymore on rubbish half made games that developers seem to think they can charge full price for - gamers get ripped off just as much as pirates rip off developers in my eyes.
Take Big Rigs Racing for example (im sure many of you here know of this game). Imagine you saw this in the shop for 30 pound thikning to yourself this could be an interesting game. What would the result of that be i wonder...And remember, many game stores will *not* refund a PC game either so not like getting a refund is an option. Piracy is wrong, no doubt, but the fact you can easily download PC games is also a useful tool in not wasting money on games that do not deserve your money - of which there are plenty to go around.

Yea, i agree. i pre-ordered Mafia II and was hella excited to play that game for months. I ended up beating the game in less than 8 hours which is way too short for a linear story based game. Thats why i just mostly rent or borrow games unless its sports or games with high replay values.Piracy will stay at the level at its at till devolpers stop demanding 50 dollars for a 12 hr game. Most pirated game of last year blops, then mafia II, do you think that says something.

Pirates have the best way to obtain games: The internet. Is Gamestop closed? Torrent sites aren't. Amazon screwed up your shipping? Rapidshare will get it to you in an hour. Why would anyone ever wait to get a game when they can download it before release date and have a digital copy that lasts them forever?
The funny thing is, consoles can let us download games. They just don't. The Xboxhas its games-on-demand service that delivers full retail versions of popular games directly to your console's hard drive. PlaystationPlus is starting to do the same thing. However, all of these downloadable retail games have been out for a while. You'll never see a game on demand on launch day.
This is by far the biggest thing that pirates have over legitimate paying customers. Their distribution service is like Steam, but it's totally free. Steam, on the other hand, has made tons of money since it started, and while it certainly hasn't gotten rid of PC Gamepiracy, many pirates find it simply easier to pay for and download a Steam game rather than crack an illegal copy. Then you don't have to worry about being banned online or getting a cease and desist order in the mail.
If consoles at least made digital distribution a viable option, then the piracy rate would drop like a stone. Sure, there are always people who will pirate games because they are free, but providing a digital distribution platform cuts out the middle man (aka Gamestop) and thus drives down game prices. Maybe people would steal games a whole lot less if they just weren't so expensive.
