Bunch of terribly done studiesCommunist_Soul
Please refer to the studies in my post. They actually take into account multiple drugs in the system of the people who crashed. For people who ONLY had marijuana in their system, there was either no increased risk or LESS risk. Also, none of the sources cited on the page about marijuana and lung cancer work. Your evidence has no evidence. The last link of yours isn't even worth mentioning.

By the way, driving while high is not very dangerous. Here are a BUNCH of government studies saying this same thing time and time and time again, for the last 30 years. Study after study from governments around the world, all saying that being high does not increase your risk of an accident while driving. As a matter of fact, many of them say driving while high actually lowers your risk of being involved in an accident. It's amazing to me that people believe absolute lies based on absolutely no evidence, simply trusting it to be true because a teacher, a government official, or some stupid pamphlet/commercial says it. Here's the link: http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/4131.html And here's a wonderful quote: "The most recent study into drugs and driving was published in the July 2004 Journal of Accident Analysis and Prevention. Researchers at the Dutch Institute for Road Safety Research analyzed blood tests from those in traffic accidents, and found that even people with blood alcohol between 0.5% and 0.8% (below the legal limit) had a five-fold increase in the risk of serious accident. Drivers above the legal alcohol limit were 15 times more likely to have a collision. Drugs like Valium and Rohypnol produced results similar to alcohol, while cocaine and opiates showed only a small but "not statistically significant" increase in accident risk. As for the marijuana-only users? They showed absolutely no increased risk of accidents at all."

The scientific data that supported making marijuana illegal in the first place was completely farcical. Even the scientists that did the studies came out and admitted it. There are absolutely no reason, other than political ones, for marijuana being illegal. They did a whole lot of bad science to give them a reason to make it illegal and used racial tension to gain public support. More than that, marijuana prohibition (along with prohibition of every other drug) is completely unconstitutional and completely illegal for the same reasons alcohol prohibition was completely unconstitutional and completely illegal. It's incredibly frustrating living in a country where our government can blatantly disregard the constitution on a daily basis and the vast, vast, vast majority of politicians want only to further the illegal acts our government is committing.

A bunch of alarmist crap sgotskillz
1. Everything has feces in it. The air you're breathing right now has feces in it. Get over it. 2. When you are suggested to boil water for several minutes, that's because you're sanitizing it for a different reason. You boil water before you drink it to kill different bacteria and different organisms than when boiling milk. 3. The pasteurization process used for milk is more than enough to kill anything that might make it undrinkable at LEAST 99% of the time (accounting for freak accidents I'm sure you'll post links of). It doesn't matter if it doesn't seem like enough time or enough heat to an uninformed person, it is more than enough to make the milk completely safe for consumption. 4. Bacteria grows quickly in every food at room temperature. 5. 20,000 live bacteria is laughably insignificant. Did you know that when you account for all of the cells that make up your body and all of the bacteria living in and on your body, your cells are outnumbered 10 to 1? Right now, there are up to 500 different species of bacteria on your skin. 6. Somatic cells are not scientifically named pus cells. That is a complete mistruth. Somatic cells are all of the cells that make up the body of a living creature. 7. The moral of the story: Quoting statistics without context is in no way shape or form any kind of valid evidence. For anything.

Just tell them. Beating around the bush and delaying the inevitable is inevitably going to make everything about the situation worse. Regardless of how you break the news the message will be the same, so you might as well be a man and be upfront with them. Then go to community college and don't be lazy. Start a transfer degree, do you work, get good grades, and transfer (with all of your credits) to a University after two years.
