When did I say I wanted Nintendo to fail? I said I was going to buy a Wii U down the road. Why would a Nintendo hater say that?

You're going on and on about how "it's not next gen. The 720 will be better. The PS4 will be better. I'm not surprised that Nintendo isn't doing well.". Seriously, we get it. Now shut the hell up and don't buy it if it is such a flop as you say it is. No system is perfect. I don't necessarily like Nintendo either but holy sh!t. Just get the console you like.
What system is better is a matter of opinion, but the Wii U is not next gen. That's just how it is. And I think the PS4 will be better because Sony is the best company in the industry and makes the best systems with the best games. At least IMO.
In fact Sony has had better 1st party this gen than Nintendo (I mean last gen because Wii was same gen as Gamecube), especially in platformers. LBP and R@C >>> Mario Galaxy and DK returns and that dumb Kirby game. I know this because I own all those games.
Comparing those games is actually a very bad tactic for your argument as all those games suck. Little Big Planet is a horrid amalgamation of everything I hate about platformers in general; dumb, juvenile and lacking in entertainment, not to mention frustrating as all hell. Ratchet and Clank makes no sense, and its awful gameplay and juvenile toilet humor do no favours in creating a good game that I would actually want to play. And Nintendo's platformers...well, they speak for themselves really. Crappy games for kids that have no idea what a good, entertaining game is. not to mention incredibly weird designs that I do not see in any other games other than more stupid games that try to milk Nintendo's success by ripping them off.
Anyway, I just got the impression that you were slandering the Wii U to hell and back and then denying that you were a hater. I don't particularly like Nintendo but if you're not pleased with it, you don't have to buy it. I was just saying, sorry if I came across as hostile. Just giving some...less-than-friendly advice, I would say.
