I remember my first computer back in '82 it was Sinclair ZX 81 with a 16k ram pack. It couldn't really do graphics just letters and symbols, and not in colour either. This just goes to show just how complex creating video games are these days, Simulating how light behaves, physics and A.I. As well as creating models, architecture, meaningful stories, character and game play. It makes my head hurt just thinking about it. If they could simulate global illumination with proper ray traced shadows, that would really be an achievement.

Fps mode in GTAV looks amazing especially in flight. Dragon age multi-player only; no don't do that multi-player works well with games like Diablo and Borderlands but not a story/character driven game. Not interested in Cod but would rather have a decent frame rate than a few extra pixels.

@cflannyflan Exactly Its that that makes an rpg an rpg. Not stats and upgrades in a fantasy setting.

High hopes for this one as far as great characters and stories to interact with. I would love to see bioware one day return to Balders Gate or Planescape Torment style rpg's.

@Kunakai @Jasper_73 yay vid up now :-) the only way to play offline on console was to unplug the cable. I'm not sure about this, but I think I read somewhere that you get penalised for doing so. At least in Dark souls one you could play as hollow through most of it. I didn't mind getting invaded once and a while when not hollow. In Dark souls 2 however I was getting invaded all the time sometimes by two or three at the same time. I also liked the other online stuff like seeing ghosts, peoples messages and helping others out with bosses etc. If only they had included an opt out for invasions, that you could turn off or on, but penalised you if you turned it off during an invasion.

No video review? certainly interested though as the continual invasions in DS2 really got on me nerves.

Totally agree with Shuans review and score. A good but flawed game. If you like survival horror then you'll probably like it in spite of its faults. If your not a fan then you'll probably find it frustrating.

I dont know that watching a utube vid of cats makes a pc a pc any more. I can do that on my console too if I want.... not that I do lol.

For this kind of thing to take off it needs to be much more affordable. Also one of the reasons for getting a pc is that pc's are generally on the cutting edge of technology, in terms of both hardware and software. What's going to be the lifespan of something like this if you cant upgrade the gpu. Also If you need to keep upgrading to continue playing the latest titles then you may as well just get a pc, otherwise its going to be a very expensive "console".

Oh the opposite has also happened to me as well. Glom the Strong killed me once early on in the game. I sought revenge and have now killed him or left him for dead several times now. He looks awful now bandaged up with metal plates here and there. Also he fears me now... which I like.
