also AFAIK you NEED an earth prong, whether plastic or metal to plug a plug into a UK socket, 'coz the live and neutral sockets are protected by a little flap... anyway.

my 360 core has a proper earth connector, so I don't know why yours hasnt :/ Unless they make them differently in the UK

maybe get a different power brick? It certainly seems quite odd.

oh, remember with a different 360 you NEED to be online to play XBL arcade games.

yup. You can also get manual switch boxes if you look hard enough, to change between the 360 and the pc. I got mine off ebay.

If you have a standard monitor, be prepared for letterbox mode in anything over 640x480. The picture is awesome though.

Rome total war is the obvious one. Even if you are not an RTS fan it is good.

My patented awesome way to guage the friendliness of a server is to say something along the lines of "good evening" (obviously only if it is evening) then if people respond by saying hello then theyre okay. If they are all stupid they dont take kindly to cut glass english :)
