I play CoD 2 online.

I dont know why there are too programs. I guess the MP portion is completely seperate. It was the same in CoD1

As for the CD- you didnt for the original, but I cant say with CoD2 as I have the steam version.

I have often thought that WWI should be in a game. If done well enough to convey the horror of it all. I think the problem is that most of the time the troops were just sitting around, dealing with boredom, rats, flooded trenches and illness. It could be hard making a game about that. WWI doesnt lend itself very well to the individual either. Chances were you would be machine gunned while charging across no mans land.

edit: Damn, peeviness, you posted just as I did, saying the same thing in fewer words :)

I didnt have live until recently, and was perfectly happy. I have R6: Vegas, Saints Row, Splinter Cell and Just Cause on the 360 and was itching to try MP.

Splinter Cell- No matches at all

Saints Row- an hour waiting, 2 other people, gave up

R6- Vegas- finally got into a match, didnt like much.

I am only keeping gold for Forza 2, which I would like to get this summer, or FlatOut Ultimate Carnage. I think Silver is fine if you dont generally go in for MP. The demos are good, as is Live Arcade. I bought a core system and MU and I highly reccomend you get an HDD. I got mine off ebay and I havent looked back.

I like unlocking acheivements and such, because they are usually fun to unlock but the total score means very little to me.

Call Of Duty- Those demos were just awesome.

Tomb Raider Anniversary- loved it.

Company Of Heroes- Had no interest in the game until the demo, which I downloaded as I was bored. I wasnt bored for a looong time after that :)

Crackdown, Have not bought yet, but the demo has convinced me that it is a good purchase

Just Cause- I loved the non-stop stunts and action. I still prefer the demo to the full game :(

I must say, I do generally play demos more than full games on the 360, because I just cant afford £40 for 1 game.

sonic obviously springs to mind.

The Worms series for me is also dead. I still love 4 player Worms 2/Armageddon. I wish they hadnt moved into 3d and had actually improved the 2d ones, rather than releasing the same game 3 times over or thereabouts.

Driver is very much in trouble now as well.

Before anniversary I would have said Tomb Raider, but damn, Im back to loving it.

Rainbow Six. Yup. Vegas is a decent FPS, but it sure isnt a Rainbow Six game.

yup. The games for windows logo means that games supporting a gamepad (i.e CoH wont work, obviously) will work out of the box with the Xbox 360 controller too!

I think that it is foolish to say "Graphics dont matter"

Of course graphics matter.

That said, good graphics do not depend on poly count to me. They depend on a style, making the game look good by interesting use of colours, lighting etc. I play lots of old games, but I cannot stand to play ugly games. Ugly games are characterless, horrible messes. Ugly graphics can really spoil a gameplay experience by barring the user from being immersed in a world- same goes for sound and of course, gameplay.

Hooray I say. About time too. Why have NFS when you can have GTR2?
