I don't know where to start. Its the most corrupt country in the world. The Only way to get a job is to have lots of friends. Public transport is rubbish. Hospitals are rubbish. I can say this however: the food is good. That is the only good thing. At least its like this in the south, Lazio downwards.

I wouldn't take his word for it. It's common knowledge that southern Italy is and has always been a crap hole. The north is okay though.

Oh good i spent a time in the north (venice, dolomites). And really, really loved it,would bee a cool place to live.
