@theprismhead @Jd1680a If you were to look at a star that is 100 light years away, you are telling me the light itself took 0 seconds to reach the planet Earth? How could you have two variables of time?
Here is another thing to point out in science fiction in space. These ships arent just moving at the speed of light, they are moving many many times of the speed of light so they could travel on the other side of the galaxy within an hour. If we wanted to go to Gliese 876 at the speed of light it will take about 15 years to arrive there. Trying to reach another star on the other side of the galaxy it will take 56,000 years to arrive traveling at the speed of light.
Next thing to consider is the amount of energy getting to the speed of light would just be enormous. You would probably need like 20 nuclear reactors in your ship for the energy needed to reach light speed. That problem is generally solved in science fiction.
I bought Bound By Flame on Saturday and so far Ive played about six hours. The game isnt definitely not the most mind blowing thing ever came out, nor is it a total disaster. It is a definite improvement from Spiders last game Orcs and Men.
Kevin gives Bound By Flame a 4/10 based on other video games currently on the market. This game is pretty average found in ever game in the last ten years. That doesnt mean someone wouldnt find some kind of entertainment value.
This game is $40 on steam and Im planning on picking it up as a time burner. It might not be the very best game on the new market, but it should hold some entertainment value for me.
My character is a rank 2 sorcerer and I have played around 200 hours of ESO. I would say the game's biggest problem is the lack of an auction house. To buy new weapons and gear require you to either join a trade guild or spam the in game chat in hoping someone have what you need.
In a MMO people on and off it at different times during the game. Someone who have a weapon they want to sell will have to be physically on the game to sell it, vise verse when someone wants to buy an item. ESO in a few months from now will have a hard time functioning when it gets around three months when a quarter of the people are playing compared to two weeks after release.
There have already been a few times yesterday and today when I had to spam the chat to get upgrade gear and dont find anything or get people showing me something I dont want. Old Republic had a nice auction house for me to find exactly what I want and compare prices with other players. ESO needs to have the same feature to make it a better game.
