There is really nothing coming out in January for Video Games and Movies. My plan was to buy more games during steam sale to account for nothing to play this month. I mainly bought games I set on the back burner throughout the year and now its a good time to play them. My bill for Steam Holiday sale was $121 for six games, which were 50% off. So I pretty much saved myself $100.

The issue with the NSA spying program is they are spying on American citizens in a broad scope, which is already illegal according to the 4th Amendment to the US constitution. An Australian citizen talking about the spying program is a bit odd since technically it is legal for the US government to spy foreigners.

Can casual gamers support a gaming platform in the long run?

Danny have stated a lot of facts about the Nintendo Wii U to help support his argument. It is not conclusive to say the Wii U is a failure until Nintendo themselves decide to pull the plug or put out some thing new.

@nep321a Sony have sold 2.1 million units in two weeks, pretty much a million units per week. Assuming Sony were to continue selling a million playstation 4s every week, they would add four million more giving a total of six million units sold worldwide. Both Xbox One and Playstation 4 could easily triple the number of units sold by the March comes around, just in time for Watch Dogs.

I am a loyal PC gamer and decided to buy a new video card back in June. My $400 purchase is the same cost as a playstation 4. The thing with my PC is that I dont just use it to play video games, I will listen to music, watch movies. browse the internet for things to buy, chat to people on Twitch, watch live streaming videos on Twitch, etc. My PC is a center of entertainment and for me getting a console doesnt seem to work for my way of life.

I plan on upgrading my PC all together in a couple of years, so I could continue to enjoy the games I play at the highest graphic quality.

Gamespot makes a habit of airing live streams when most people can't watch them. They would set it during times when half the planet is at work or at school and now they are setting times when people are in bed.

This is a great topic and sometimes I come to ask myself the same question. Why do I should I give an emotional thought of something on the screen that isn't real? It seems to come naturally without any control.

Games with non human characters like Mass Effect, Star Wars, Skyrim, etc will have characters that are not human. I am more willing to care a lot more for non human characters then characters are human. Why is that? My two favorite characters in video games are Garrus from Mass Effect and Qyzen from Old Republic, both are not human. My follower in Skyrim was Darkaarus, an Argonian. I ended up having some emotional bound with Darkaarus being around in my game and would miss him if he left my party.
