If you don't know why RE2 was good, I dunno what to tell you. It was fun, had a ton of replayability and impressive graphics for it's time. It added just enough action while not getting too far away from the roots of the original game, Looking at it now then looking at recent RE games, you wouldn't be able to tell that which is a damn shame.

Ughhh, the world would be a better place if games could just be games and not some platform about "gender equality" kinda sick of seeing this brought up all the time honestly. Over the years we have had plenty of games with strong female leads who weren't so because of their bra size. and yeah there are games where the sole point is to flash as much flesh as one can get away with. ok? fine whatever, chalk it up to creative freedom. Now as for women designing games, one has to realize that the internet is full of morons, and trying to change minds that have been molded by the status quo is a monumental undertaking. One has to grow a thick skin about it all, instead of focusing on the negative, just pursuit the work you love. Let that speak for you rather than worrying about being accepted based on your gender. I also find it stupid that there are people saying this isn't a game, they must be the 20 something and youngers who weren't around during the time when a lot of pc games were text based adventures.

true, while I did enjoy season 1, it really didn't seem like my choices made any difference at all. Picking one character over the other gave you different bits of dialogue, but their fates were sealed regardless. You couldn't stop so and so from getting killed, this person here always dies, that person lives regardless of if you leave them for zombie chow. The decisions try to seem like they have weight at the moment, but in the end it leads to the same path. Still it was an enjoyable ride even when you had your hand held the whole time, Hoping when all the episodes are released, this season will feel less like you're on the outside looking in and actually give you a hand in deciding where the story goes.

I agree, this is what I am doing actually. I don't want to spend an hour playing this then waiting x weeks for episode 2 to arrive, etc etc. To appreciate these games, you obviously have to play the whole thing, I dunno why Telltale opted for this piecemeal approach, we know the content is already there, so just let us opt to play the whole friggin thing in one go. I find it weird to try and review a game before we see the WHOLE story. I mean I respect Carolyn's opinions but I'd find it hard to review this title until I see how it plays out as a whole.

love the fallout series and looking forward to a part 4. I have to admit however that I am disheartened at it more than likely taking place in an american city yet again. Is anyone else curious what happened to the rest of the world in the fallout universe? Like china for example whose forces play a significant role in the fallout canon.

People still watch television?... Most of it has always been a mass of refuse. Can't recall the last time I bothered. Get more entertainment out of various web shows/internet personalities these days instead of more of the same recycled junk shown on tv, including VGX.

Seems pretty trivial and not something to really moan about. In any case, looking forward to this one, but may wait a while. Pretty sure they are gonna do like before and time release these "episodes". I like to play right through and not sit waiting after a cliffhanger personally.

I can't say if it's struggling or not, could be doing quite well. Nintendo just hasn't been a company I've been interested in for a while now. No real good third party games. Just more Donkey Kongs, and Marios or Zeldas. Franchises I just have not cared about for years (in some cases since the super nintendo or N64) They seem to make games for Nintendo loyalists, who will mop it up like a biscuit in gravy, however they should be making an effort to attract those outside of that circle and get them to move into the camp and try out their stuff.

Best comment in this video, being all about the games and NOT the hardware. I agree in this respect and neither console right now really has anything on their immediate line up that catches my eye. Dead rising 3 maybe, but just not worth spending 500 bucks, to play 1 game. Waiting personally to see how the libraries expand in a couple months for each system.

what makes us human is the ability to rise above the other animals of the world. Our mind elevates us above those base impulses. I dare say anyone who is normal doesn't have the desire to ram people off of roads etc etc, there is nothing unnatural about having enough respect for yourself and others to not be a jerk. No one is saying that a person can't relax, but why does relaxing have to include abusing total strangers? I stopped playing mmos altogether because the communities were just so vile. It's a real shame. We like to say things like "yeah that must be a 14 year old on the other end of that screen" but most of the time it's adults, our own peers just separated by a few miles in some cases. It's pretty scary that adults act this way when we're supposed to be setting the example.
