If you've played HL2, then get Ep1 ASAP. Or do the smart thing (no, you're not smart, Jn...) and get Orange Box. When it comes to shooters, you won't get a better value for your monetas.artur79

i smaht! *smiles brightly, obviously extremely proud of himself*

it has the potential to be the best sims yet, because its focus is on something that's actually kind of interesting: "it takes place in a wide-open, constantly changing neighborhood — a much bigger sandbox, if you will, and a much more complex simulation." plus, you can finetune your sims' personalities. all in all, it sounds like a vast improvement over the sims 2 (which was basically the same as the sims with prettier graphics and an aging system), so i'm looking forward to it. i hope they don't do what they did with the sims 2 and release like 352 expansions and 557 stuff packs. but that's not likely. not likely at all! stupid ea...

Just get The Orange Box

Kolossi

agreed. it's definitely worth it, but the orange box for $30 is very much worth getting over the $5 episode 1.

if you think movies like 'the ring' is scary, you'll probably find f.e.a.r. scary as well. i am ghastly scared of little girls with long black hair, so naturally i found this to be the scariest game i've ever played.

[QUOTE="Archon_"]

[QUOTE="Lonelynight"]I would rather see one set in Korea.thenewau25

Idiot.

And why would it be set in Korea? With the current state of affairs it would be far more suitable to have you defending on American soil, rather than continuing to rape other nations.

But what's the use explaining such things to ignorants such as you.

ohh yeah crysis fanboy!

oh joy. more of this ****.

[QUOTE="PerilousWolf"]

Can some post some pictures or examples of each?

For me I prefer the slim ones, Less chance of it getting wrecked or me losing the manual.

fatshodan

Here's a picture:

qwerty

Just to clarify, this isn't my collection. Found the picture through Google. You can see some of the slimmer boxes in the middle, like The Witcher.

this guy is clearly no hardcore gamer! he only filled out one shelf! what a loser~!!!

Gabe Newell explained that the name Half-Life was chosen because it was evocative of the theme, not clichéd, and had a corresponding visual symbol: the Greek letter λ (lower-case lambda), which represents the decay constant in the half-life equation. According to one of the game's designers, Harry Teasley, Doom was a huge influence on most of the team working on Half-Life. Subsequently, according to Teasley, they wanted Half-Life to "scare you like Doom did".
