[QUOTE="JnWycliffe"][QUOTE="fatshodan"]It's excellent marketing. I tried Peggle Extreme today for the first time and I'm buying Deluxe shortly. Trackmania didn't sell me, but that's only because I have driving games I like more.fatshodan
you mean, grid? and...grid?
(i don't count console games as...games. naturally.)
Anyone who doesn't recognise Wipeout 2097 (Wipeout XL) as the greatest driving game of all time is not fit to call him, her or itself a gamer.
that's how i feel about anyone who hasn't played gtr2 or any of the papyrus games.
****ing mother****ing ****sucking **** *****er. Jesus God damn play.com to hell.
I just bought Mass Effect last ****ing week. From play.com. For £27.

aha ha ha ha ha! PWNED!!!
excuse me in the previous game without patch they take 6 shots with pistol with no armor if you shoot them to the leg they dont fall down like cod4 the ballistics are fake no gore and shield is going down with one hit. very protective... seriously even if you switch armor off the green bar runs down slower!
tc: crysis is not a reallistic game!

maybe it takes 6 shots with a pistol to take down a north korean soldier fully decked out in body armor (i think all of them at least had body armor, btw) in the near future?
besides, what does it really matter? is this a real criticism of the game? i mean, you can't jump over fences or open doors in cod4. if you're complaining about enemies not reacting realistically to you shooting them in the legs, then i hope you're also complaining about the many unrealistic things that you see in ALL GAMES.
and i didn't understand that part about the green bar running down slower (and it gives me a headache trying to figure that out).
tc: ALL GAMES are not realistic!
let's see:
1) you get a headshot, and they go down quite easily. they wear body armor, so it's not surprising that it takes several shots before they go down if you don't go for headshots.
2) too hard to switch between suit modes? first, why should it be easy? what makes you think that it has to be easy. maybe in 'real life', switching between suit powers is not an easy task. personally i have very little problems switching between powers; i don't know what you're doing wrong, but i switch between powers with relative ease. and combos are nearly impossible? what combos are you talking about? going invisible, sneaking up on someone, and then switching to strength and taking him out? i don't see anything difficult about that; but then again, you're having trouble switching between powers, so...
anyway, those are the two complaints you listed specifically. not a very good list of complaints, imo. maybe you just need more practice.
if you want to see a good review of both games, check out the link to anti-social fatman's youtube reviews on my sig and watch his reviews of both crysis and crysis warhead.
