i wish there were. i can't tell you how many times i got burned by having bought a retail copy or from steam but for a higher price, only to have steam do a weekend deal immediately after. unfortunately, i don't think there is such a thing as a listing of upcoming deals. :(

i don't know. i never thought they looked all that alike, personally. i mean, i guess grass and trees can only look a certain way, but even beyond that, i always thought the games looked different enough that i never associate one with the other. maybe you could provide screenshots?
