i 'test drive' food before i purchase them. if it was delicious, i pay for them, but if i didn't like it much, i don't pay. i've been arrested several times for that. stupid restaurant owners. :evil:
maybe you should list (some of) the games you've played. it would make things easier on people trying to recommend you games. how about age of mythology? sins of a solar empire? dawn of war?
expect one of the deepest rpgs of all time, in which you get to make myriad of choices which impact the world and in turn impacts your play, turn-based combat that can get pretty exciting once you get your hands on some good weapons, and npcs that are totally unique from each other and are very interesting to get to know. in short, expect one of the best games of all time. but do have the patience to get through the beginning stages of the game; it can get tedious fighting rats and scorpions, but the game gets really good afterwards.
