i mean.. my budget is pretty flexible, considering ive spent over $1000 on my ps3, over $1500 for my 1080p tv and many other things a few extra hundred on speakers to upgrade from my htib would be ok
i currently have a samsung 1080p tv with a HTIB 5.1 surround sound connected via optical to my ps3 then my ps3 to the tv via hdmi so i have surround sound when im playing ps3 but not when im watcing tv. i am most likely going to buy a nice onkyo receiver which accepts hdmi and run hdmi frmo my ps3 to the receiver then to the tv from the receiver. problem is i need a set of speakers...can anyone help me decide on what speakers to use with the onkyo receiver...im not too good with sound knowledge but know a little bit, im better with tv knowledge. thanks in advance

my friend just bought a tv with no tv tuner and wants to watch cable but there is no coax cable input on the back of the tv, what are some solutions to watching cable on his tv? note: he does have 1 cable box in the house but his old tv didnt have the cable box it was the direct cable cord to the tv
my friend has a tv with no av tuner so he cant plug in the cable cord to watch cable in his room...how or what can he do to get cable in his room... he has a 27" olevia tv
Man considering the " I never beat a console FPS or any for that matter" (not exact quote)... i suggest you PLAY OTHERS... like Gears of war... Halo/ Halo 2... Half life, dated graphics but awesome game, HL2 Good graphics... not so great game.. but seriously... Get Prey/.... or.. i dunno ANYTHING before you shoot off that resistance is perfect... well... great.
EDIT: I've never played it so i dunno how it is.. but try a bunch of others, and see if you still think that afterwords.

well my gf's brother has a 360 and so ive played some gears and a halo with him..i guess since i just picked it up and didnt play it through i didnt think that much of them but i must admit gears seems better than halo in my opinion..chainsaw on a gun is just sick but yeah rfom was still great
